“The lady was really helpful and patient with helping us decide what we wanted, since we weren't familiar with the products. It was obvious that they were busy but she never made us feel uncomfortable or rush us. She also gave us extra to taste after our purchases!! My best customer service experience in forever. Thank you!!!“
“We’re military gals visiting from Texas for Mardi Gras and this place was awesome.I JUST WANT TO SAY THE PANCAKES ARE SOOOOO AMAZING!! I “accidentally” ate my kid’s food bc I couldn’t stop eating it…..Literally one of the best I’ve had in my life. I’d rank them #2 best pancakes and #1 is my childhood memories in Holland, Europe.Breakfast burrito is pretty good but I want pancakes next time I come!Customer service is great! All very welcoming and make you feel right at home! “
“Cafe de monde is the New Orleans icon, I was so happy to find that there was an airport branch. I love that no significant change in the price as we all know that everything in any airport is in high price from its usual price. However , the coffee au lait was good , but the beignet was little bit dry and seemed like it wasn’t fresh.“
“Great food, and very clean. But, as a guest on this particular day, I felt very disrespected. The cashier got the order wrong for the customer before us and was upset because they proved her wrong. So instead of putting that order out since she had been handling it without gloves on. She waited and tried to put it on our plate instead of using the one that was just cooked for us. I informed her that I didn't want it and she got mad again, and instead of putting it on our tray, she instead gave it to the drive-through. After sitting there eating for 30 minutes or so, all we could hear was her complaining about the situation over and over again. Like I said, nothing to do with the establishment, only to do with her customer service.“
“My wife and I recently had the pleasure of visiting Morning Call Coffee Stand in New Orleans, and it was an absolute delight. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with the tantalizing aroma of freshly made beignets and café au lait. The service was lightning-fast, and despite being a cash-only establishment, we were in and out in no time. The staff members were not only efficient but also had a great sense of humor, adding a playful touch to our morning routine. As for the food, it was simply divine. The beignets were light, fluffy, and dusted with just the right amount of powdered sugar, while the café au lait was rich and creamy, the perfect complement to the sweet treats.Overall, Morning Call Coffee Stand provided us with a memorable breakfast experience that perfectly encapsulated the charm and flavor of New Orleans. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this place is definitely worth a visit.“
“We stopped in here on our search for some authentic gelato. We tried a few different flavors such as the stracciatella, amarena cherry, cookies black, and hazelnut. The stracciatella was a little heavy on the chocolate but it was still super smooth and tasted great. The amarena cherry and cookies black were probably my two favorite gelatos as they were very well balanced! It's nice and quaint inside and there is some additional seating outdoors too.“
“What a great little bakery and coffee shop! A small slshop but it's whimsical and clean. A small selection that is done very well. The prices I found to be reasonable too. Got the brioche buns and the olive bread. Both were delicious The pastries looked tempting. I will be ba“
“Good coffee. Very tasty and the place has a nice, homey ambience. They didn't have almond milk so I got coconut in my decaf iced latte. Had a lot of good flavor for a decaf... didn't have the usual nasty decaf aftertaste which I appreciate. Pretty large for a small too!“
“I recently went to Another Broken Egg for the first time and Jenny was our server. She was amazing and really made my first visit special. She took her time with us, never making us feel rushed, and had some great suggestions from the menu. Everything she recommended turned out to be delicious, and it's safe to say she knows her stuff.Jenny's service went above and beyond, making our meal not just about great food, but a really enjoyable experience. It's because of her that I'll definitely be coming back to the restaurant. It's clear she's a great asset to the Another Broken Egg team, and anyone who gets to have Jenny as their server is in for a treat.“
“We were looking for breakfast place and did not notice that this spot is vegetarian when we got there. When I saw the menu I was kind of disappointed, but when I tried their food, ohh god, this is the best bread I had in years. Food, service, everything, so even if you are afraid of places without meat like me, don't be, because they do have some delicious stuff everyone would like.“
“This is a great neighborhood spot for breakfast & lunch. My dad feels that it's only breakfast if there are grits on the plate, and this is a place he approves for breakfast. The price and service are spot-on and the biscuits are a must.Kid-friendliness: Absolutely kid-friendly.“
“I was in town from Cali and decided to stop by after reading the reviews and how close I was to their spot. The vibe is cool. The music is unique and my drink is/was delicious. I decided to put my favorite flavors together and I was not disappointed. Somehow they knew just how to mix it all up.I“
“I like this place, especially for breakfast time. Every time I am near Harahan, I always end up going there for a quick bite. It's never too crowded or loud. Food is always good and comes out in a timely manner. I definitely recommend this place and give it a 5 stars!!!“
“Not a coffee drinker so can’t comment on that but love this place for beignets. They are made to order so always fresh and warm. The minis are perfect for a little treat to share and service is friendly and welcoming. They also serve other items. Hard to get a food pic that looks appetizing but these beignets are really tasty.“
“Came to Maple Street Cafe for their Christmas Dinner and it was great. We had a 3 course meal and the star of the show was the delicious stuffed pork chop. I had the soup and bread pudding for my other courses and they were great as well. The service was also excellent. I will be back.“
“Cute little coffee shop with excellent coffee and service. I always make it a point to get at least one "Moxie" while in town visiting my family, and I am always greeted with a smile--no matter how busy they are. I highly recommend this place.“
“Came here for a late dinner on a Thursday night and the service was quick and friendly. I ordered a chicken shawarma wrap for take-out and it came piping hot, with ingredients that were incredibly fresh and delicious! I was a little disappointed with the size of the wrap (very small), but I'd still come back here :)“
“This is the type of place you stumble upon out of happen stance and are so pleasantly surprised by. We walked in on a pretty slow Monday night, and the staff was immediately so welcoming and sweet. We were sat and served right away and treated with patience with our large order (complicated by a seafood allergy too!). Our server was attentive to us and to details but not at all overbearing and even recommended a dessert for us to try from their bakery side of the businessOur group had decided our favorites were the dragon shrimp dumplings, onion beef triangle dumplings, the Szechuan pork dumpling soup and the soup dumplings, however, none of us had anything we didn’t think was delicious, fresh and comforting, and believe me we ordered plenty! They deserve to be busy all day everyday for the quality of food they serve! We will definitely be revisiting this location when we come back to visit NOLA again!Dietary restrictions: We had a member who is highly allergic to seafood and they did wonderfully to accommodate her allergy!“
“This is the best local family-owned breakfast spot in the Elmwood area. Service is always fast and all of the employees are very friendly and helpful. The food is always hot and tasty. I recommend the garden and western omlettes with a side of potatoes and their homemade biscuits! The ambiance is very warm and welcoming with lots of locals and smiles. Highly recommend for wholesome family dining.“
“The food taste great. What isn’t great is the price you pay for the meals when it doesn’t come with rice and beans. It’s considered a side item and you only get two. So not worth the price unless you have money to spend or it’s a special dinner. Picture on online ordering is misleading with the dinner plate. You think it’s already coming with the rice and or beans. Had my friend crying because she thought she was getting that with her meal for the amount she paid.“
“The food here was delicious. Real collard greens, real baked macaroni and cheese, real smothered turkey wings. This place was nice. And you get everything for like $12.00. And that tea. My goodness. Soul food at it's best. It's southern not Creole, not Cajun, but good ole country eating. Please don't change. I will be back again. She can cook all the way down. And the special of the day changes so you can figure out your favorite day or you can go everyday. Them turkey wings were fire. I am saddened that I just found out about this place. Oh and I haven't tried it yet, but she has a $1.50 breakfast.“
“I just moved to MidCity and was delighted to see this coffee bar within walking distance to me. The walk there was gorgeous and scenic, seeing street cars drive by, and admiring all the architecture. The coffee bar itself is a hidden gem! Right underneath what looks like a duplex/apartment, you're greeted with a cozy atmosphere, friendly staff and overall a great spot for coffee or breakfast. The cashier was super nice and helped me decide on what to get to eat, their recommendation of a breakfast sandwich with avocado and fried egg was AMAZING! I highly recommend.“
“Easily the best breakfast sandwich I've ever had. The scrambled eggs were perfectly cooked and the honey butter was the BEST addition. Coffee was excellent, too! There were so many great items on the menu. Highly recommend giving this quaint coffee spot a try!“
“Small, local business in an off-the-main-road location. Casual ambiance, friendly owners and prompt service. Pricing extremely reasonable considering serving sizes.Muffalettas are very good, using the "right" bread. We've enjoyed the daily specials such as the red beans and rice and the pot roast with rice, mashed potatoes, peas and corn with salad and garlic bread. (Choose 2 of the sides; we've had them all.)We always call ahead for pick up and never have to wait. it's also a good way to find out if the daily special is sold out. :) Will continue to be a customer.“
“The food is great and so is the coffee - better cafe mocha than the chain coffee shops. The price is right, I can get a coffee and sandwich for less than $12 and the taste is consistently very good. Staff is very friendly and competent, I love this place and wouldn’t change a thing about it.“
“I really like this neighborhood gem. It is my go-to spot for coffee in the mornings when time allows. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. My favorites on the menu are: the breakfast biscuit in the AM, Chicken salad on pita with sprouts for lunch, and the cheesecake is my favorite for dessert. It's a pretty busy place, but the ambiance is really laid back for the amount of business happening around you. Stop in there and try one of my favorites that I listed. You will thank me after!“
“I met a friend for breakfast. It was good, however the eggs had onions in them and that was not disclosed on the menu (and I am not a fan). The bacon and the grits were good. The atmosphere is fun and relaxed. The service was great. Very pleasant coffee shop.“
“I started coming to euphorbia after I got sober off of booze and since then, I’ve made fantastic friends and memories. Better social spot than any bar. Perfect amount of weird and homey. I honestly probably spend too much time here. It’s been an amazing tool for relaxation and sobriety. Dog friendly“
“Friendly, great environment and food was fabulous. We had brunch, with delicious mimosas made from freshly squeezed orange juice. Melt in your mouth pancakes, awesome breakfast sandwich, baked goods were top notch (that coarse sea salt- really next level). I suggest you get there early, but the wait moves quickly.“
“This place is a secret gem. We ordered the BLT, ham and cheese melt, iced coffee, and a blue berry muffin. The blue berry muffin was one of the best muffins I've ever had. The top was so good with the little sugar crust and the inside was so soft and fresh. Amazing. The BLT had plenty of bacon. The ham was delicious too. Can't wait to come back and try other muffins and maybe a cupcake!“
“Overall good experience. The crepe (Funky French Monkey) was really tasty, and I couldn't finish the whole thing. The whole menu looked really good. The counter space to order is really small, and then you hang out outside. It's funny that it's right next to The Boot. I can't imagine trying to get a crepe on a weekend night haha. Service was fine. Just one girl working, and she was professional and efficient.“
“The only terrible thing about this spot is that I can't get this back home... this place is fantastic! The food, the service is top notch. The price is pretty decent too. The employees were not lying about the quality of the food. Would for sure come back in a heartbeat if I could!“
“Today was my first time here and hands down the best food and smoothies! The food was so satisfying and the smoothies were very clean and healthy . Please do not sleep on this cafe. Very cozy atmosphere to enjoy clean and healthy food . I’m so glad I chose to come here for my birthday lunch . I will for sure be back ❤️“
