The airport branch of a well-known New Orleans restaurant. You can see them making beignets. The freshly fried beignets are crispy, chewy and delicious. Once you pass through the security gate, the terminal is connected inside, so it's convenient if you get hungry or buy a coffee as a souvenir.
I guess I’m not a fan of Beignets. It’s a dry doughnut wit a ton of powdered sugar. Not my kinda sweet. Gotta eat it hot. Wife says the black coffee is fine. Long line but moves swiftly. Friendly people, small booth. If u need coffee and don’t want Starbucks, this’ll work. And of course if u like bread with powdered sugar.

Cafe de monde is the New Orleans icon, I was so happy to find that there was an airport branch. I love that no significant change in the price as we all know that everything in any airport is in high price from its usual price.However , the coffee au lait was good , but the beignet was little bit dry and seemed like it wasn’t fresh.
