“My only regret is not finding this spot sooner! I'm in town a few times a month and just happened to drive by and stop today. First off the waitress (Mrs. Lisa) was amazing! Super friendly and sweet! drink never ran out before I had another sitting beside it. I ordered the fried craw claws and the swamp platter. It was all cooked fresh and came out very quick. Seasoning was on point! very large portions (no chance you're leaving hungry) This is the first restaurant in the area I give a 10 out of 10. let's face it most NOLA restaurants rush food in and out and season just enough to get by because of the tourists! I'll be seeing you again Mrs. Lisa! (side note her husband is also a Dolphins fan so make that 11 out of 10 stars)”

“I really like this place! I've been going here since they opened. (Sorry it took me so long to write a review!) It is my go to spot for Pho.Their pho broth is very tasty and flavorful. I end up not adding the additional sauces ( the sirachi and the sweet one) because the broth doesn't need it. The portion is good. I usually have leftover. The Vietnamese eggrolls are always fried right to order and are super hot.The 2 owners are wonderful! They always are friendly and I love how they always remind me to heat my broth before eating so I get the best taste. (I always get take out so the 10 min to my house, the soup has lost some heat) I've never eaten inside but the decor and ambiance is very inviting.”

“Ye Olde College Inn (aka Old College Inn) represents a great example of what makes New Orleans great over the decades - what the spirit of NOLA is really about - it is family owned and operated - it is a loving gathering place to share meals, a drink and friendship. For those of us lucky enough to live here in NOLA this one of our great places. For the food, personally I mostly get the grilled fresh fish with whatever are the in-season home/local vegetables. If & when my wife is not watching my waistline then I treat myself to the Onion Rings (apetitizer) followed by a delicious and hardy hamburger steak - or fully dressed po-boy. Many of we locals come on the early side directly after Saturday or Sunday afternoon mass at St. Rita's and we beat the 6:30-8:30 full house. If you are looking for a current trendy restaurant you might just want to stop in for a drink, shake hands with the 15-20 locals at around the bar and then head to the current moment fusion-of-choice. Only 35 years in New Orleans, I remain.”

“No doubt in my mind, the Gulf Coast has amazing seafood, and the Fiery Crab is just another example. We had a large party (10) and ordered the platter and some sides of fried fish and sides of Cajun and Sweet Potato fries. The platter served was lobster tails, mussels, crawfish, gulf shrimp, royal red shrimp, crab clusters, blue crabs, sausage corn on the cob and boiled eggs. Each of the items was very good. The only suggested change would be to place the corn into the boil last so it does not cook as long.The only challenge was the service. The server had too many people in her service area.”

“This is an airport restaurant at MSY. Were it not in the airport I might have rated it a bit lower. But let's face it; expectations at the airport are a little lower. I enjoyed my meal (catfish po boy). The sandwich was more than ample (probably would have been enough for 2 people), tasty, reasonably priced and served quite cordially by the wait staff. “Can’t remember names but these folks went above the call for me. I missed breakfast by ONE minute while placing my order yet the serve made sure I got my breakfast even though they had to go and cook some grits just for me! The the power went out and they lost my check in the system. Waiter told me don’t even worry about it. No sir! Flight was boarding so I paid cash and told him to take care of it and what was left was all for him! Great people in that place. “Not sure why the reviews are all so bad here. From my visit there was only one person working but she was very nice and attentive. Let me know all orders needed to be done at the bar and was super nice. And for an airport pizza it was pretty good obviously not mind blowing but didn't taste like cardboard or anything.”

I picked up a cinnamon-sugar pretzel post my flight into Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport from O'Hare International Airport - Chicago. Auntie Anne's is one of the options conveniently located in Terminal 1 of the airport. Though it was not my preferred option, I felt it was a satisfying option until I got settled in the city. Kiedra, the employee who assisted me, took care of me in a timely manner at the register. Prior to departing the airport, I enjoyed the cinnamon-sugar pretzel; its size and taste was as satisfying as I imagined! ~Blessings~ Thomas G”
