“Bf has been raving about this place for years about the Shrimp Ducky. My First time and Came alway from Texas. The food was amazing. I am disappointed in the person at the hostess stand. She was a little rude and not hospitable. We had a togo order due to our dog in the car. We don’t know where to go to pick up the order and it left us wandering the restaurant.“

“I visited the location on Ponchatrain in Nola last night _ I will NEVER dine in late at night - The host was outside playing with the managers dog in the parking lot - She walked in the side door and greeted me picked up the menu and NEVER sanitized or washed her hands. The server complained about it being slow- My food came out cold- The manager on duty last didn't care- They put my side dishes in the microwave They served me the same cold chicken I sent back and just put it on the grill for a few minutes. Horrible customer service experience and the quality of the food was worse.“

“I have visited about 5 times, and if you want to pay a mark up for a nice date night spot with decent drinks and food then Cure is a good spot with a solid ambiance.

The reason I'm giving it a 4 (would go lower but don't think that would be fair because it is a decent spot for what it is) is the happy hour. Very small pours (~1 oz) on the beer and the shot combo, the cocktails for $9 were ok, and a table of 5 was charged an auto grat (only an issue because the server didn't alert us when dropping the check off which is a huge red flag to me).

It feels like the happy hour is trying to embody more of a dive bar vibe and it's competing with way better places in the city. Not my first choice as a bar but not having to venture downtown and the large regular cocktail list are definitely pluses for Cure! Will definitely return for a date night at some point.“

When a mysterious man in a trench coat whispered to me the secrets of the hidden menu, I rushed to Wow and asked for one simple item: the Jackson Cushing special. Although the workers were resistant to serve me, they finally caved when I leapt over the counter and begged on my knees. As soon as I was done with this meticulously and gracefully cooked fish dish, I wept, for I know that nothing in life will ever come close to the absolute pleasure this cuisine brought me. “I have been coming here for 20 years or close to it. I love the hamburgers, garbage can nachos, spaghetti and meatballs, lasagna, spinach and shrimp quesadillas, ribs, and recently discovered the Baja taco with salmon this summer. That’s my favorite go to meal now!!! I usually got a margarita on the rocks with dinner. But changed it up with a watermelon daiquiri with tajin on the rim. Delicious! This was one of my mom’s favorite places too. I sure miss going there with her sharing a hamburger together and having margaritas. Great neighborhood restaurant.“

“I came here 2 weeks ago for a friend's 50th and it was 10 or 12 of us, and it was the best experience, and we had a private room the food was great and so was the staff. So, 2 weeks later I'm back, and it was just 2 of us this time and just as great, plus they have happy hour, they were out of the Tuna Poke bowl, but that's is just fine, it shows they only serve fresh, and it can signal the fish wasn't up to par today, you can tell it's genuinely fresh when you taste it. I live an hour away, by it's so worth the turn around trip, I love this city and this place is another reason to visit.“

“So I found this restaurant on tik-tok and was not disappointed me and my family of 6 ate great we a re from Maryland and love southern cooking. Our waitress Tae was nothing but amazing, she explained everything and was very patient with us which made the experience more better. I would definitely revisit stop in and check them out.“

“This was probably some of the best rotisserie chicken I've ever had. I also had some corn grits that were amazing and the sweet potato puree. My boyfriend got the ribs and they were so tender and so flavorful. The only downside was my boyfriend said the red beans were like what you would get at Popeye's.“
