As the name suggests, this is all about (Doberge) cake. And it's really, really excellent cake, conveniently available, with good service, at a good value. What more could be asked for from a cake shop?I've tried about a half dozen flavors, all have been very good. I think the best (to my surprise) was the peppermint -- which, if I remember correctly, is actually a red velvet cake with peppermint. We traveled to New Orleans as a family to celebrate three birthdays, so I did some research to figure out where I could get a cake and came across Debbie Does Doberge. I was so excited about this New Orleans specialty and the variety of flavors to choose from.
