The sweet potato casserole was so good. The green beans where just alright but the corn, macaroni and cheese and the baked beans were really and did I say really good. Thanks for not disappointing us we drove two hours to get there and will 100% be back sooner rather than later.”

We are from Texas and was driving back to Gonzales from taking an airboat tour and we were hungry!! Food was amazing. I had the shrimp and grits, my husband got the JoJo special and we shared the Joe’s swamp fries and we at every bike! The swamp fries we ordered the sauce on the side and the fish had such a good breading on it, and the food was fresh right out of the kitchen!! The sauce was AMAZING they sell it by the package to take it with you!! I plan to go back because we did not try any of the beignets or pastries, they all looked amazing though and will be trying them SOON! It will be worth the drive and the husband and wife that works there at the Metairie location where as sweet as can be! Very helpful, very friendly and made us feel welcomed and right at home! “New Orleans is nortorius for not separating checks. I find this very inconvenient to the customer especially when you have party larger than two. Then it's very embarrassing to see customers passing the hat to pay for their portion of the meal with cash trying to figure out tax and tip. Everywhere I've been, there is no problem separating checks. I've been to New Orleans and requested separate checks and the waiters seem confused and then it becomes a huge delay. It's sad this restuarant has good food and atmosphere with this type of service and doesn't make it easy for customers to do business with them. They make easy for themselves but not for the customers. Go figure”

“The app is provided to save customers time. I can order and pick up with reduced wait time. However this location does not allow ordering through the app. They have enough business. I don’t feel the purpose of the app is to increase business. It is to save customers time and provide a convenience. So either allow it or don’t have it.”

“I brought my son to the Metairie LA store today at approximately 7:30pm. This is the first time I had an awful experience. I could not even eat my food. I ordered a burger xtra lettuce xtra MOOYAH sauce grilled onions no pickles wheat bun. A family in front of me placed their to dine in and were given a number. A young lady fixed their food with gloves on her hands and brought it to the family and she takes the number from them with the SAME gloves on her hands and proceeds behind the counter to fix the next order. Sliding her gloved hands along the counter. She goes to the grill to work on the next order. She slides the patty off of the spatula on to the bun with the SAME gloved hands. She then puts the fries in the bag but a handful fell on the counter. She picks the fries up off the counter with the SAME gloved hands and puts them in the bag. Calls my name to tell me that my order is ready. I tell her that I do not want it please make my order over. I take it to go when I get home the order is completely wrong!!! I’m so hungry but upset!!! I’ll be calling them tomorrow.”

“Came in to pick up a little birthday cake and was honestly so impressed. The freezer was fully stocked with so many options - everything you could need! I was greeted right when I walked in, and even though there was only one person working, they were incredibly kind and attentive the entire time.

I noticed there was also a Planet Smoothie connected, and the same employee was running both counters while still taking the time to give recommendations based on what I liked. I ended up getting the Dragon Fruit Lemon Splash smoothie and it was SO refreshing.

Of course, I couldn’t leave without ice cream too. They encouraged me to try every flavor I was interested in before deciding, which made the experience even better. At checkout, they also told me about the rewards program, and I got $5 off the cake!

They only opened about 4 months ago - definitely go check them out for both ice cream and smoothies. Truly something for everyone!”

My teenage daughter says that these actually taste “real”, never dry or “basic”. I especially love the option to buy frozen cookie dough, biscuits and cinnamon rolls (when available).”

“Great place with a fun atmosphere. Perfect for just dropping in for some fun or music. We held a birthday party at Dinky’s with about 75 people. Liz was so accommodating and made everything perfect for all of our needs. She is one awesome manager/bar lady! Liz rocks!”

“Would highly recommend. The food is excellent, and the staff is awesome. The pan fry noodles are delicious as well as the salt and pepper chicken wings. You know it has to be good if there are lots of people there during lunchtime and many of the tables are full. We came at nighttime one time and it was crowded on the weekend. The only drawback is the parking when it is busy and you can’t find a spot to park. Again, the food is great and that’s why it is crowded there.”

“We had a little snafu at our visit, our order went missing and we sat quite a while without getting our food. I get it, it happens, but I'm only human, I was aggravated, probably hangry honestly lol, we were just going to leave and eat elsewhere, I wasn't angry or ugly to anyone,I just wanted to leave. I asked for a refund and the manager handled my request with utmost professionalism, she still fed us and she most certainly did not have to. How we handle the tough stuff is what makes us and if this is how she handles unhappy people, she'll keep this location successful for sure. Thanks for a pleasant visit.”
