“Coming from Seattle, where there is a lot of Asian food especially Thai food. It’s hard to find a very good Thai restaurant in the south. This place is good still different from what I’m used to, the noodles were still not as flat as I usually eat when I’m in Seattle these noodles are on the chewy side. The sauce reminded me more of a chow fun. The chicken pieces were OK. He was nothing special, but overall friendly service large menu with lots of vegetarian options.“

“My partner and I went here for our anniversary while on vacation. We were blown away with everything we got. Wish I could give it 5 stars. Genuinely one of the best food experiences we’ve ever had. It’s also made me question the Thai food I’ve had in the past that I thought was really good. This place is hands down incredible, make your way to this spot. The appetizers were amazing, the peanut sauce with the Tofu Satay was the best I’ve ever had. The Pumpkin Curry was probably the best curry I’ve ever tasted, just, wow. And the Tom Kha was also the best Tom Kha I’ve ever tried, and I’ve had quite a bit of Tom Kha! Go to ThaiHey!“

“This is a really good locally owned Thai restaurant just a few blocks outside the French Quarter. I got the Crab Rangoon and the gyoza as appetizers, and they were amazing! For dessert, I loved the Umi cheesecake so much I got a second slice. I also found the chandeliers and the detailed mural made the space feel classy but still casual. The service was also very good. I will definitely be back.
Wheelchair accessibility: The front door is level with the street. There are no stairs either inside or outside.“

“We ordered the pork dumplings, waterfall duck, and pumpkin curry with fried soft shell crab. Everything was delicious- well seasoned, not greasy, and unafraid of fresh herbs. The spicy dishes are definitely approachable, staying within the lane of American hot instead of Thai hot. The heat slaps your taste buds a little bit, but doesn't fully annihilate them. It's also quiet enough to have a conversation without yelling across the table and not so dark that the visual aspect of the meals are lost. I am writing this review after having a delightful Budsi-rita.“

“Recommend? Yes!
I honestly can’t believe that I haven’t reviewed this place yet. I’ve been going here for a few years now. Being a vegan I don’t have many options on the Westbank. My go to order here is the tofu fried rice (no-egg) on the lunch menu and I love their roti with peanut sauce as well. They also make me a Thai tea with coconut cream instead of milk.
Vegetarian options: Vegan options“

The service was nothing short of amazing and the food HANDS DOWN the best Thai food I have ever had! It was my wife's first time ever having Thai food and thanks to your staff and amazing food, she is hooked! We will be back again and again! Thank you so much for an amazing dining experience!“

“I enjoyed my visit to Chill Out Cafe! I had a bowl of their Tom Kha and I enjoyed it. I had never seen tomatoes or carrots in this dish from any other Thai restaurant before, but I enjoyed the flavors of this addition. The calamari was deliciously crunchy. Our whole table ordered bubble tea but unfortunately they did not have enough boba left, as it was the end of the day. The thai tea and coffee was delicious regardless. I would come here again, and I hope to try their breakfast soon!“

“Denied access to a legally allowed service dog without any interest in making accommodation. The dog tucked immediately under the table where she is supposed to be and the server (maybe owner) came over immediately asking for paperwork, which isn't required in the United States. Any paperwork provided is typically bought off the internet. Don't waste your time or money here. Sharing their intolerance on every platform. Also just found out that the person who told us we couldn't eat there laughed and tried to joke with the rest of our party and offer free drinks after the fact like that was going to fix splitting our dinner party.“

“We stopped in 2 years ago with 3 teenage girls, 2 of whom are extremely picky. They still talk about how good the was here, and ask when we are going back to New Orleans so they can get more. It was delicious.“

“I had the Bangkok Shrimp. I believe the dish is new to the menu. Not only is it pleasantly plated, but it is also very delicious down to the crispy crunch wonton bowl in which it is served. The shrimp are large and plentiful. You will not be disappointed. This is a four star dish for sure!“
