“Traveling Foodie here! My husband and I visited the O’Reillys and asked them a good place to eat in town and they sent us to Joe’s! We are from Texas and was driving back to Gonzales from taking an airboat tour and we were hungry!! Food was amazing. I had the shrimp and grits, my husband got the JoJo special and we shared the Joe’s swamp fries and we at every bike! The swamp fries we ordered the sauce on the side and the fish had such a good breading on it, and the food was fresh right out of the kitchen!! The sauce was AMAZING they sell it by the package to take it with you!! I plan to go back because we did not try any of the beignets or pastries, they all looked amazing though and will be trying them SOON! It will be worth the drive and the husband and wife that works there at the Metairie location where as sweet as can be! Very helpful, very friendly and made us feel welcomed and right at home! Service was excellent, we were well taken care of! Thank you again for the wonderful meal and experience!🍽😍“

“Never had a bad experience at the spotlight. In fact the very first time I went in for lunch the server made a lasting impression on me with her hospitality skills and judging service to all. She continues to uphold her high standards of customer service. As recently as the past Monday, their red beans and rice lunch was flawless and delicious. Keep up the great work Kelly w/ a y!!“

“You want an excellent burger cooked exactly like you want it? Get over to Harbor Bar and Grill. I visit regularly and try to bring a friend to get them to love it as much as I do. The only thing is on my last visit the waitress rushed us a bit and didn't wait for me to finish my order before asking me questions about my order. Other than that, she did an excellent service and we appreciated her attentiveness. And as always, the food was great! Was so excited to eat the awesome looking burger, I forgot to take a photo. PS. The sweet potato fries were perfect too! My compliments to the chef!“
