We checked out the menu online and decided to give them a try since they had variety of different Gumbos. We called in our order and our order was ready when we arrived. 9/10“

Loaded with flavor and so very well seasoned. I'm going back to get more of the items because of the yummy experience. I strongly suggest this restaurant if you enjoy lots of flavor.“

“New Orleans is nortorius for not separating checks. I find this very inconvenient to the customer especially when you have party larger than two. Then it's very embarrassing to see customers passing the hat to pay for their portion of the meal with cash trying to figure out tax and tip. Everywhere I've been, there is no problem separating checks. I've been to New Orleans and requested separate checks and the waiters seem confused and then it becomes a huge delay. It's sad this restuarant has good food and atmosphere with this type of service and doesn't make it easy for customers to do business with them. They make easy for themselves but not for the customers. Go figure“

“Every time we visit the New Orleans area, we look for a new restaurant to try apart from the same old "tourist" places. We happened upon Freakshake Cafe tonight. The Muffaletta and Po' Boys were delicious (especially the Italian Beef) and the portion sizes are HUGE (Get the small, trust me!) We even treated ourselves to some Freakshakes. (If you're into over the top dessert experiences, this is definitely for you.) Chef Bob is so friendly and personable. He made sure that every step of our dining experience exceeded our expectations. We look forward to coming back and visiting again!“

“Picked up 3 12" Poboys for the family and the owner's were absolutely wonderfully entertaining while I waited. The Poboys were perfectly dressed and everything was freshly cooked when served. I'm a Poboy fan and this place definitely didn't disappoint ‼️‼️‼️“

“We were in the area for vacation and this place was amazing. It was the first time I've ever had this style of food and it blew me away. Our hostess took the time to explain the process and how it all worked. We ended up with the charbroiled oysters, an order of the lobster special and blue crab special and it was all delicious. Really wish we had ordered the dozen oysters instead of the 1/2 dozen.“
