“Love this place. Had their ground meat twice and it comes out better than Walmart’s and even smells really good while and after cooked. Made a spaghetti yesterday and tacos today. It started out with me getting their shrimp stuff they serve for breakfast and I loved it, they also sell my favorite drink-body armor. I love this place. At night their gas station is well lit. I love this place can’t wait to try some more meats. And the workers there are extremely nice and helpful. Love this place. Hope they are here to stay. Our server Louis was incredibly charming and attentive, giving us excellent menu choices —as it was a hard decision. Every dish was a work of art—both in presentation and flavor. “My husband and I went on Friday night for dinner. Could not wait to try the new menu and it was simply awesome. To start with, our sever team was Isaac and Cheyanne and they were great. We never waited for anything. The Hot Crab Claws and Foie Gras Torte for appetizers were divine. I ordered the Duck Cassoulet and my husband had the visiting fish, Sea Bass over Yakamein. While the fish was excellent, the Duck ruled the table. Thanks to the Servers and Kitchen for a wonderful meal. We'll be back.“

“One of the best meals I’ve had in New Orleans was at Toups! We had a charcuterie board with their house made hogs head cheese, chicken liver mousse and foie gras accompanied by house pickles. Simply incredible!! The hogs head cheese was the best I’ve ever had! I especially loved the chunkiness of it with nice pieces of tender pork! The crispy turkey necks! Oh my goodness… AMAZING! The braised lamb neck entree was exquisite with a generous portion and crispy spaetzle! Even leftover, it was great!! I also had their pork chop and applesauce cocktail which was creative and also delicious!! I highly recommend this restaurant! Great work Chef Isaac and team!“

Soft. Sweet. Soaked just right. Illegal in at least three states. Now let’s talk about the REAL MVP: the waitress/bartender with the cute lipstick. Sweet as pralines, sharp as a Saints comeback, and made the whole place feel like your favorite cousin’s house—if your cousin knew how to pour a drink and flirt professionally. I am currently eating this bread pudding right next to the establishment like a raccoon with a treasure, specifically to keep my husband from getting a bite. He had 45 whole minutes to get out of bed, put on clothes, and drive me here before closing—and chose violence (sleep). That’s on him. I chose dessert. 10/10. Worth the drive, the risk, the one-way street, the bare gums, and the marital pettiness. New Orleans at its finest.“

Going into it we weren't sure what to expect but let me tell you.... they were unbelievably good!!! All of us had the Fried Green Tomato BLT on Jalapeno Cornbread Toast.... more perfection! Side dishes were Gumbo and Sweet Potato Crumble.....yep, perfection! The inside of the restaurant is beautiful and absolutely spotless. The staff were exceptional and very attentive. The prices were extremely reasonable and I guarantee you won't find better food at an expensive high end restaurant. Be sure to check this place out. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐“

New Orleans is home to many fine dining restaurants but none dinner than Brigtsen's. it's friendly, distinguished, welcoming to all. I'm not a fancy person and I've never felt out of place here. “This place has personality! AND Good food! You can tell it been here for years as soon as you walk in. I tried the Seafood Gumbo, delicious! Red Beans & Rice with a fried Chicken Leg, very good, that chicken leg was outstanding! And the Rabbit, Chicken & Sausage Jambalaya which was very good. You can try all 3 for $20 or so and grab a beer or 3 to wash it down! The crew working had a good vibe about them and I was laughing with in minutes of walking in! I would definitely go back here to eat again!

“My Fiancee stumbled upon Chef Ron’s while looking for a place to try gumbo for the first time. The food was amazing. We each had the Chicken and Sausage gumbo, Boudin Balls, and my mom had the Blackened Alfredo pasta. Hope to come back soon!“

“A classic New Orleans stop for a reason. Yes, it gets busy, but the line moves and the experience is worth it. The oysters were fresh and flavorful, and overall the food delivered on that classic New Orleans seafood experience. The energy inside is lively and fun, which adds to it. We particularly love the raw oysters and grilled oysters. The Fried fish, potato salad and even coleslaw we’re actually pretty good as well It’s definitely more on the touristy side, but sometimes that’s exactly what you want when you’re visiting — a staple that lives up to the hype.“
