“I have been going to Westwego from Northeast LA for the last 4/5 years. Penny that works at Amy's pretty much took my order a couple days ahead and had me almost ready when I arrived. My timing was the only reason it was all ready. Definitely wanted it as fresh as possible. Will be going back next year if blood still running through my veins.”

“Yesterday, I went to this quaint cafe in Westwego. I ordered grilled fish-tilapia with sides(potato salad and green beans). Everything was cooked to perfection and tasted great. Ms. Estralita (owner) was very nice while taking my order. She gave me a nice serving (sample of her bread pudding) which was fabulous as well.
This place was recommended to me so I am so glad I tried it out! I will definitely be back.

“I bought some Turtles and cake today from Sweet Generations at the NOFA Gumbo and Jambalaya cook off. OMG! The turtles reminded me of McKenzie's! The cake was delicious! I haven't been to their bakery...YET! But I can't wait! I live in Terrytown but it I know it will be worth the trip.”

“Love this place. Had their ground meat twice and it comes out better than Walmart’s and even smells really good while and after cooked. Made a spaghetti yesterday and tacos today. It started out with me getting their shrimp stuff they serve for breakfast and I loved it, they also sell my favorite drink-body armor. I love this place. At night their gas station is well lit. I love this place can’t wait to try some more meats. And the workers there are extremely nice and helpful. Love this place. Hope they are here to stay. Support your local business people, this is how it’s done! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”
