“Fresh fish and seafood is what you'll find here. Along with some seasoning (Fish Fry, Crab Boil, BBQ Shrimp, etc) You're not going to find better prices on fresher shrimp and oysters anywhere! They've got fresh local and fresh farmed shrimp, fresh oysters and a large selection of frozen fillets of many types of fish. All at great prices!“

“First time in the city a good friend told me try this place out. Food trucks are usually hit or miss. This place was honestly some of the best food I have ever had. Get the Barbarcoa tacos and I promise you won’t be disappointed. I ate at the broadside location.“

“*** UPDATE***Made it back. 7 years later, I remembered how much I liked this place. I'm glad to see it still standing and it seems popular. The food is just as good as I remember. Hopefully I can make it back to NOLA sooner than another 7 years, to come back. But either way, it deserves all its success. 10/10.Fantastic food! Definitely will be back here. All the meat was super tender and delicious.“

“I read an issue of Southern Living Magazine which listed best barbecue in each of the Southern states. The magazine rated Central City Barbecue in New Orleans as the second best barbecue restaurant in Louisiana. We decided to give it a try. Upon entering the restaurant, we noticed a television screen advertising a Beef Rib Special offered on Weekends for $29. I knew I had to order that. In the Bay Area, beef ribs normally sell for $40-55. When we placed our order to share, I was pleasantly surprised when we were asked what two sides we wanted with the rib. "We get choice of sides?" Never back home. We ended up ordering so much food, adding a three meat platter and a two meat platter, that we took enough leftovers home to provide an additional meal for each of us. The sides were all quite good, although the mac and cheese could have used a touch of salt. All the meats were mouth watering. Fall off the bone pork spareribs, burnt ends, beef brisket, pork belly, and of course the aforementioned beef rib which was huge and perfectly done. As Schwarzengger would say, "WE'll be back!"“

“This place is just awesome, if you’re not from here, you’ll unknowingly pass by one of the best local breakfast/lunch BBQ places nearby. The food is always cooked fantastically, the portions are awesome for the price you pay and it’s worth every dollar. They order for pickup which is awesome if you’re in a pinch and need to get on your way but still have great food. They’re also pretty fast compared to most restaurants and any fast food nearby, you nearly never wait more than 10 min for you food. Plus they’re a very friendly group, I’ve never gone there and a rude person, they’re very patient and will recommend things if you’re not 100% sure what you want and they answer the phone more than most places in the area, I’m not sure if it’s a Louisiana thing to not answer the phone but they do answer and if not, they call back which amazing. They clearly know what they’re doing. 10/10Shoutout to Bobby and his team ??Recommend their breakfast burritos; chicken, brisket, pork, you can’t go wrong“

“I drove around this place a few days ago and decided to stop today. I wish I would've taken a photo but the food was so hot and fresh I couldn't help but to dig in. At first, I was on the fence about the sauce not being tossed on the tenders however once I got out of that mindset, I was very pleased and preferred that the sauce was on the side. The tenders were so crunchy, juicy, and fresh, the fries were seasoned perfectly, crispy, and hot. To my surprise they have crushed ice similar to sonic ice but not as big. So for all my ice eaters who love to finish their drink, shake the cup, and eat the ice, this place is for you. There's also outdoor seating incase you'd want to sit down to eat. Thanks, Guys 10/10“
“Beautiful spot! The aesthetics and the beer are everything. I love how they keep the beer and the brewery super clean, plus everyone there is super nice too. As a woman, it’s important to me to feel welcomed at a brewery and not treated like I know nothing about beer. The bathrooms (3) all have different themes too, which is pretty cool! Highly recommend this spot.“

“Had a craving for boiled shrimp. I don't know why. Searched Yelp and Bon Temps Boulet's came up. I had never heard of it. It was less than 2 miles from my house, and apparently I had driven past it many times without knowing it was there. Reviews were excellent, so I jumped in the car and drove there. Funky little place. But great vibe. Nice 5 person bar, maybe 7 tables inside. I ordered the boiled shrimp to go. A pound of headless boiled shrimp for $13. The gentleman that took my order was attentive, but also perfectly funky. I can see why some people might find him off putting. I didn't. Shrimp came out in less than 5 minutes. The shrimp were some of the best I have ever had. They were perfectly seasoned and perfectly cooked. I highly recommend. And I will be headed back this week. Check it out.“

“First time to Moe’s, but definitely not the last. Being somewhat of a BBQ snob, I have been looking for a location to replace NOLA Smokehouse since it closed down. Tried CCBBQ for awhile since Chef Rob from NOLA Smokehouse was part owner, but once Chef Rob left, it was pointless to continue going. For such a small place, Moe’s has a lot to offer. Everything I tried from the menu was exemplary, the staff is super-friendly and fast, and the location provides a clean/relaxing atmosphere to enjoy their food. Definitely worth the trip, and not too expensive.“

“As if online reviews will sway you, it’s really really good. And I’m a snob from Texas who bores people around him all the time about BBQ facts. No, this smoked meat is superb, the sides sublime and the selection of house sauces great. Make the trip.“
“After my review the owner has reached out to me. I must say she was very nice and professional. I understand things do happen in life and she reached out promptly to fix the issue and make it right. Very Professional! Me and my friends will be revisiting for my birthday next month ❤️?“

“Sunday evening my husband and I decided to order locally and we chose Ted’s. I captured our selections on paper before calling to order to be sure I got exactly what we wanted. I called using my cell phone which has a 301 area code. (I was stationed in Maryland when I got the number and have seen no need to change it.) I verbalized our order to the gentleman who answered. All went as expected.I arrived to pick up our order and the gentleman, who is very sharp by the way, was there along with a woman. Both were very welcoming and pleasant. We talked about the Saints’ recent victory and speeding tickets, etc etc. Nice time, right? ?Well our order costed much more than anticipated and I got home to discover there were no rib tips. This is the main reason we ordered from them… the rib tips! We got beef brisket instead. We like brisket, but had a taste for rib tips. The 1/2 chicken smoked platters with baked beans, coleslaw, and Texas toast were delicious. The food is good! No rib tips!?? I called back and was told they haven’t had rib tips since COVID.?? Why wasn’t I told that when I placed my order??? There was no empathy or offer to make it right either.?? Why hasn’t the menu been updated online??? Did they think we were tourists due to area code?✔️ The menu in the restaurant showed the increased prices, but I didn’t take a photo. The cost went from approximately $36+ tax and tip to $58 with tax plus a $7tip. We always tip!FYI: The menu items and prices have changed. Another case of “It is what it is!”Got to be more careful!Parking: Ample off street angle parking.“

“We’ve been trying to eat at Boucherie forever, and finally the stars aligned in our busy schedules to pop in. Lucky for us they were having some happy hour specials! We couldn’t decide so we ordered everything! The rumors are true y’all, the food is AMAZING. Deceptively simple items like roasted Brussels & a burger were some of the best I’ve ever eaten! We sat at the bar, & everyone from hostess to waitstaff were so accommodating & fun! The bartender served us classic cocktails & more imaginative beverages that were more delicious than the last, in a town that had its share of ‘must try’ menus. We only intended to get a snack, & we left stuffed. My companion described the gumbo as “the best he’d ever had,” and that’s saying something! Cannot wait to go back!!“

“Maybe the best fried catfish I've ever had. It''s a spartan little takeout place with a small counter,1 or 2 seats, but man was that catfish crispy on the outside and moist and fresh on the inside. That's all we ate: just the catfish. No sides. Enjoyed every bite.“

“We have eaten at the Pig Out NOLA Barbecue several times. The barbecue is always good and the service is always very friendly. The Pig Out has a number of items on the menu so we can always find something we like. The atmosphere is very casual, decorated like a barbecue shop should be. There is a fair amount of indoor seating with individual tables. Outdoor seating is also available and is very popular.Vegetarian options: Primarily barbecued meats but a few non-meat sidesDietary restrictions: Staff will try to assist with restrictions you make them aware ofParking: Street parking in area and paid lot across the streetKid-friendliness: Completely kid friendlyWheelchair accessibility: Fully accessible“

“I was hesitant to order from here on DoorDash. But I was tired of regular fast food. So I gave it go. I hardly leave reviews. But from the first bite….this place has a customer for life and I’ll send everyone I know there. Even being delivered it was hot, fresh, and a great portion of food! The ribs were the best! The chicken and sauce were great. And the sides were also great! Dirty rice and Mac and cheese! Highly recommended!“
