“Yes yes yes. I finally was able to sit down and eat here while I was in town and it’s 10/10. I came on a Sunday when they had meatloaf and mashed potatoes, but of course I had to get some sides to try. My favorites were the smothered green beans and potatoes and pickle cheese (enough to where I’d get those every time I come in if they’re on the menu). Also, those ✨wings✨ omg. They’re habanero pineapple white BBQ wings, but don’t be scared - they’re not overly spicy. I’d say they’re more smoky than spicy. So good. The smothered okra and pot roast were also flavorful and delicious.

The restaurant itself has a very retro/vintage vibe that I think goes really well with the homemade cooking, and the service is very good. I was able to bring my favoritest boy (my dog Cashew) onto the back patio where we enjoyed a late lunch. I’ll be back!“

“Pulled pork and jerk bbq sauce were delicious. The jerk bbq sauce is the best I’ve ever eaten (so far). Customer service is lacking, my takeout order wasn’t received and they didn’t want to fulfill the order. I wouldn’t recommend this location based upon the customer service but I do recommend the jerk bbq sauce.“

“Great BBQ right here in the city. They had a good menu, and the chopped beef sandwich was great. They put a large heaping of beef on the sandwich, and the cow fat French fries paired exceptionally well. Fast service also, so if you work downtown, you can get in and out easily on your lunch break.“

“0n a recommendation from our small haunted hotel we hit MRB for lunch. The catfish po boy was outstanding. Their drink specials were just right and reasonably priced. Two days later, we went back to try the alligator sandwich and some charbroiled oysters also spot Definitely would not call this a tourist trap. It’s like most of Nola, funky, functional and fun. Don’t confuse with Mr bs“

“The fettuccine with meatballs was exactly what I needed to power through a drink filled Saturday on burbon st. The homemade sauce was great and I was extremely satisfied with the amount of meatballs (protein!) that came with the dish.

The loaded French fries also looked amazing, can't wait to try those next!“

They're doing an awesome all-day special right now (see picture I uploaded) and it's an amazing deal for how much food you get. Their potato salad is possibly the best I've ever had so I highly recommend it as a side. Friendly and very fast service.
