We had dinner at coop’s tonight. We wanted to try something authentic, local, with Cajun/Creole. A couple told us about this restaurant (from a mile away). Then when we arrived, another couple coming out from the restaurant recommended we must try it, so we went in. Was really glad this was my first stop in NOLA. Cheap drinks, great neighborhood vibe from bartenders. The sample plate it a great way to try a lot of local specials. Unless you’re REALLY hungry, definitely recommend sharing it between 2 people. You can always order more!
Don’t judge the book by the cover. It is small but the food is great! Service was good and staff had a personality. Highly recommend.
