Tried the famous souffle potatoes as well as turtle soup given my first time in New Orleans - both were unique. Turtle soup sort of just reminded me of a lentil soup and worth trying once but probably wouldn't get again. Crab Yvonne was tasty but didn't notice any artichokes and would have been disappointed with this as an entree if didn't share the veal chop (as seemed more like a side dish). It pains me to give this review to Galatoire’s. We attended Friday lunch which is known as an institution in NOLA. This was my third time for the lunch. I was appalled by the conduct of guests there, particularly a very large group of women attending a bachelorette lunch. It was so loud and rowdy, it might as well have been a football game. A very elegant restaurant where we spent my wife's Birthday during our trip to New Orleans. Located right on bourbon street, Galatoire is New Orleans French elegance mixed with interesting creole twist.
