Great food reasonably priced. Much better than some of the better known and prettier places we’ve eaten at in Nola. We had the super dome and Benson Boogie. We will be back!
The food was SO BOMB!! Loved the outdoor atmosphere, super cozy and casual! Chef came out and spoke to us, an amazing talent! Highly recommend the fish!
The food was nice and hot. I got the seafood extravaganza it was delicious & the crab-fries are definitely the best fries Ive had. The bread pudding melts in your mouth. Highly recommend 👍🏼 👍🏼

Heard Dat Kitchen is a great small place in New Orleans with amazing flavors. They offer indoor bar seating and outdoor tables for dining. The Fried Chicken Dat Plate with mac & cheese, potato salad, and peas is incredible, living up to Louisiana fried chicken standards. The blackened fish, shrimp, and chicken are also highly recommended. The space may be small, but the food is full of flavor and texture, extremely satisfying, and served quickly. The outdoor seating is perfect for dining in, but it's also worth it for takeout. The cornbread with a special sauce, grilled catfish and grits with fried shrimp, and the fish with potatoes topped with onion rings are all delicious options. The Heard Dat Pasta and Crawdat Mac are really good, best enjoyed fresh. The Mardi Gras Mambo plate is delicious, with crispy fried fish and a flavorful crawfish cream sauce. The Seafood Extravaganza is another standout dish. For dessert, don’t miss the thick bread pudding with rich caramel sauce, though some prefer it with raisins and rum sauce. The Superdome, Bourbon Street Love, Skeesh strips, dat fries, and BBQ shrimp fries are also packed with flavor. The service is friendly and helpful, making it a must-visit local stop.
