“Second time dining here, first time I left with mixed feelings (about a year ago), today totally different!! The service was great, very attentive and friendly. Very helpful and explained the menu well. Drinks never went empty. The food was amazing. We had brunch, which is newer to the restaurant and nothing disappointed! They have a beautiful outdoor space that is going to be perfect for fall football games! Kid and dog friendly (outside). Will definitely be back soon!“

“My husband's 60th Birthday party was held at The Max this past weekend! The new renovations inside look fantastic! Several of our guests commented on how great the venue looked and how clean it was! Thank you Bridget, Chris and Denise for helping us pull this together. The ease of set up, fantastic service and warm welcome to us and our guests made this event a huge hit! Our guests have been ringing our phones since Sunday morning commenting on what a fantastic night it was!! I will highly recommend this venue for any party, event, reunion or get together!“

“First and foremost, there is a drive thru in case you only want a daiquiri to go. They have a ton of different flavors to choose from.
The service is great, they are friendly! Food is good as well. This is my go-to place every time I'm home visiting family and friends.“

“I have a problem with this place. Their sound system is too good. I used to think I could sing okay. Not well. But okay. Then I did karaoke night at Shenanigans and found out what I really sound like. It really hurts, man. I feel like I need to apologize or anyone who ever had to hear me sing. I was really bad. I don’t even sing alone in my car anymore, just in case I’m going too slow and the car next to me can hear it.

“Update 3/30/22: The owner contacted me yesterday and he gave me a call today. He was very apologetic and pleasant while discussing what transpired. Mr. Wolf definitely turned this experience around with his professionalism, kindness and humility. I’m changing the rating from 1 to 5, due to our phone and in person conversation. I will continue to patronize this business because I see that he actually cares about his customers!3/28: What a horrible experience I had today by the “manager”. I just KNOW NOD managers don’t act this way. I patronize this business weekly LITERALLY. I could show my bank statements! This was unprofessionalism at its finest! I can’t let this one blow over! This was disgusting to say the least. A complaint has been made and I’ll be in contact early tomorrow morning to rectify this situation. This cannot be a reoccurring problem. Blonde white female who denied giving me her name, her boss name and/corporate information lol. This will be handled either way though. No apology for the nastiness or anything. Reminds me of my bestest mixologists at what used to be the only bar I would regularly visit, why well b/c hottest ladies behind the bar who would automatically place my olives in my bud light to the best damn chicken tenders on the planet.“

“One of them dive bars. But probably one of the better ones, in Metairie. It has a unique frequency! Unable to see through the blurriness. Try sitting and, just, existing. It will come into focus when you are ready. The knowledgeable staff are skilled mixologist, Daniel is one of the is Greats! Ask him for a baby beer and hold the milk. Wink wink. SIN night is Monday night. So when your bar closes and you ready for a drink, come to Colby's they're still. No bad vibes or Time out you get.“

Tonight, October 8, 2024, is my mother's birthday, and I decided to bring both my parents here, and they literally do NOT want to leave!
