“Celebrated my cousin’s birthday here with dinner and drinks on the rooftop this past weekend. We had an amazing time! Our reservation was for 530 but we arrived about a half hour earlier and were allowed to wait in the seating area/lounge which was connected to the hotel’s bar (located in the Pontchatrain Hotel). I absolutely loved the decor because it was a concept that was welcoming, nostalgic, and upscale. Whoever designed the space is a genius. There are plenty of Instagram worthy areas to take pictures and the menu was outstanding. My cousins and I each ordered a different dish where we took turns sampling plates. There were 6 of us and we ordered the pork cheeks, fish in a bag (flounder), crawfish risotto, broccolini, braised pork ribs, and cauliflower soup. I also ordered the “hibis-kiss” drink and a lemon drop martini. We lounged around a bit before the waitress told us about the rooftop bar “Hot Tin Roof.” All on the same hotel with a beautiful view of the NOLA skyline. The hotel is located on the RTA line and we took streetcar 12 from Canal street to Josephine and St. Charles. This was a perfect way to see more of the city and embrace the culture.“

Luckily, they offer a convenient system where you can leave your name and phone number, and they'll text you when your table is ready, allowing you to explore the area in the meantime.Once we were seated, we couldn't wait to dive into their bennies! We started with a classic Bloody Mary, the perfect brunch drink, and then indulged in a variety of eggs benedict options. With choices like pulled pork, fried chicken, and Cajun-style shrimp, we decided to mix and match. Honestly, I couldn't pick a favorite because they were all so delicious! Despite the bustling crowd, the service was quite good, and the ambiance added to the enjoyable experience.“

Small bar, historical atmosphere, very traditional cocktails (haven’t seen thrown cocktails in a while), incredible food, and a great bartender. Best bar experience we had while in town. We had ordered the fish which came with a dollop of curd rice and pickle! We loved it so much that we asked if they could send us seconds of the curd rice. I would like to throw and big shout out to our amazing waiter Landon who always had a smile on his face and was spot on with his recommendations. “Ok. Visited from south Florida on a couples weekend getaway. and after looking through reviews I came across Cane and Table.Alright, brunch on Saturday was quite amazing! First off, with the service – it was seriously on point. You could tell the staff were genuinely enjoying service to us, which made the whole vibe very welcoming. Our server was MC, and chatting with her and the Host about the menu and small talk felt like shooting the breeze with friends – no stiff vibes, just good ol' friendly chatter. Now, onto the drinks – they were awesome! Very well balanced drinks and such a variety of options which continued on setting the stage for a memorable brunch. And the food? Well, let's just say, even though the brunch menu wasn't overflowing with options, each dish was a pure winner. We shared a bit of everything among our couples of six, and everyone agreed that the flavors were so perfectly balanced. Take the French toast, for instance; it wasn't crazy sweet as one would expect, it was just so naturally balanced that it left us all in WOW. Overall, it was a great brunch experience, and if you're on the hunt for a spot with awesome service and flavors then this place is definitely worth a visit! It checks off the vibe“

The Bacon Smothered Greens and Ancho Mashed Potatoes were so good and different than anything like them I've ever tasted! We also shared the Banana Bread Pudding and took a bag of cookies home to snack on tomorrow. We plan to return to The Rum House again and try some other tasty food.“

“Hits and missesGood: loaded Korean fries, brussel sprouts, Sad Boy cocktailDo not get the mushroom pho if you have any expectations of it tasting like pho. Deeply needed salt, the mushrooms and noodles were all wrong, and not a bok choy to be found.“

“The owner Chris is a genuine bartending guru and has trained some of the best bartenders around the country. Revel is worth it for the drinks alone but the food is excellent. Small menu but everything is done just right. Great deviled eggs, burger, salad. This is secret diamond in the rough.“

“The mahogany jazz hall was the absolute highlight of our New Orleans trip. The music is fantastic, the drinks are great, and the staff is VERY kind. They bring Southern hospitality to a whole new level with how accommodating they are. Their establishment is wheelchair accessible and they did a great job accommodating someone in our group in a wheelchair. We went to Mahogany Jazz Hall two nights in a row because we loved the talent, atmosphere, and positive energy. I loved the interior design and artwork in the establishment. Next time I go to New Orleans, I will definitely go to Mahogany Jazz Hall again!“
