Bob Boudreau and I were in NOLA for 9 nights. Three of the nights we had reservations at other places with family. Our 1st night we looked up and found Jewel of the South. We loved it so much. we asked our nephew, his medical school advisor and his wife to join us. All three lived in NOLA and had never been here. All 5 of us would definitely go back in a heart beat. This place is truly amazing and operating at the top of their game. Cocktails are clever and delicious as is their food. Great ambiance and staff.
Stopped in for one bite one drink and ended up getting 2 bites. The potato rosti with the raw tuna was the perfect bite. The corn and crab salad stole the show. It was light and refreshing, just what we wanted on a hot day. Service was fabulous and the atmosphere was lovely.
