My brother loves what I call "Bougie" restaurants so when he made a reservation for six of us this past Saturday (French Quarter Festival weekend), I was sure the cuisine would be a hard no for me as I usually stick to the basics. However, I am so glad I was wrong!

Great upscale seafood brasserie with a New England slant. Very tight dining room, sound was loud but manageable, music and vive was great. Service attentive and well informed. Great happy hour values before six. Standouts were the grilled octopus and market fish ... which the later changes. Exceptional both. Skip the eggplant donuts, greasy and lacked any wow, plus two small medallions for $15 was the worst value on the menu.
An absolutely terrific dinner that one plate was better than the next. The staff is spot on and the grilled muscles stole the show.
