Fancy. Fresh oysters from as far as Washington to nearby. Pacific NW are generally the saltiest and my favorite. Priced at a pretty penny though. Great wines by the glass and friendly staff. No reservation, no snobbery. They'll get you in when they can.

Overall, I had a pleasant experience at this restaurant. The cocktails were enjoyable, and the chargrilled mussels were tasty, although the portion size was a bit small. I also appreciated the quality of the octopus dish. However, I must admit that I wasn't particularly impressed by the food and drinks overall. Additionally, the ambiance was a bit loud, especially with the blasting music in the restroom. On a positive note, I found the wallpapers in the bathroom to be lovely. Perhaps addressing the noise level and considering enhancing flavor of the dishes could enhance the overall dining experience.

This place is great. The vibe, the service, the drinks, the food…it was all done really well. I had the tuna and ravioli which was awesome. The tuna was cooked perfectly and it was nice to remember what good homemade pasta tastes like. It’s a bit pricey, but worth it for the quality. I’ll definitely be returning.

As a New Orleanian, I've dined at 100's of restaurants in our city. As many know New Orleans is known for its culinary expertise. With so many experiences, it is difficult to move me. Pigeon and Whale did exactly this. MOVED ME!Cocktails - Creative and expertly presentedAppetizers - unlimited choices with oysters from all coasts, French onion soup, ceviche and others. The French onion soup happened to be one of the best that I've ever tasted.Entrees - All 4 of us thoroughly enjoyed our meal. From the red fish over jasmine rice w/anchoves, to the lobster roll with tarragon butter, to the seared yellowfin tuna over ravioli and the scallops over couscous with crab fat and mushrooms. Sheer perfection was achieved.Dessert - When Life gives you lemons, get this dish. Lemon Cheesecake, Lemon Curb and Graham CrumblesLastly, I cannot speak highly enough about the service and our server Ishmael. He was infinitely patient as one of our guests had many questions and he professionally indulged her. His recommendations and command over the menu and ingredients for each of the dishes we questioned was incredibly impressive. Well done. This is truly a neighborhood gem that many will find and continue to patronize. The mark of a good restaurant is when customers leave and immediately begins to spread the joy of their experience. And this is exactly what was done. We shall return.

Really great experience. All of the food we tried was awesome. The chargrilled mussels, squid ink pasta, scallops, and tuna we're all highlights. Friendly and attentive staff and cool nautical interior design. Will be back.
One of the best meals we’ve had in a long time living in New Orleans. Wonderful ambience along with attentive and friendly service. And the cocktails and food are delicious. ??♥️

Seems to be a tapas style restaurant that secretly ran by Congress. Over priced for no apparent reason!! . For Real people I stupidly fell for a tourist trap ( and I'm a local) paid $19 for a deviled egg and yeah; it's my fault but let's drill down for one moment. It was half an egg. Not even the whole egg. I believe it came from a chicken of average size; no special egg. Not a duck, quail, ostrich or snake, For $19. It should have been the best one ever and I have had many damn good deviled eggs in Nola and this was not a threat to any of them. Being from the south; the characteristic of a devil eggs is this. News flash...deviled eggs are supposed to be so damn good that you order more and possibly more. Regret eating to many and want to what you put in them. Ask your grandma if you think I'm wrong. The fries with the lobster poboy were way more delicious than the lobster ( tasted poached in unseasoned water). A little butter would be my suggestion. Lastly, I'm aggravated that I just wasted my time on this place again. There are many restaurants in this great old city that do it better and execute flawlessly. We ordered alot that night and the bill did not reflect the experience. If you read this and are disappointed afterwards; you were told what to expect.
This was a fun adult bar setting with a sailor's theme. The food was amazing and the service even more amazing. They served drinks done right and if you go I highly recommend the Bread Service as a starter. You will not be disappointed!!!Vegetarian options: There are some vegetarian optionsParking: There is a lot right across the street that cost roughly 4.00 for 2 hours. We found a place to park just around the corner for free.
Tasty food, interesting options. I love the heavy marine theme decor. Great service, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Marc took excellent care of me, already can't wait to go back and try more of the menu!

Really wonderful date spot. The food was fun and interesting and the ambiance was spot on even on the heated patio. I had scoured yelp for pictures of the patio prior to booking and had lacked confidence but it was warm and cute. We had oysters, the lobster roll (warm and decadent), and the market fish (yellowtail tuna with ravioli - exceptional) and the lemon cheesecake (as tasty as it was pretty and it was gorgeous - don't look at pictures in advance). Service was also great.

What a fun place with fabulous drinks and food. Stand out dishes were squid ink pasta and the lemon dessert! Worth an Uber outside the Quarter!
