“Great spot, one of my absolute favorites in NOLA. Meghan is incredible and always takes good care of my group when I’m in! I also went for the first time on a Friday afternoon recently and found out that they make a special lemon garlic butter that they put on steaks and stuff, only available on Fridays. I ordered a tuna steak and they put that on there, oh my. Will definitely be back for lunch next time I’m in town.“

“Never had a bad experience at the spotlight. In fact the very first time I went in for lunch the server made a lasting impression on me with her hospitality skills and judging service to all. She continues to uphold her high standards of customer service. As recently as the past Monday, their red beans and rice lunch was flawless and delicious. Keep up the great work Kelly w/ a y!!“

“Wednesday Steak Night: the cook works miracles with the steaks, making up cheaper cuts with skill and ingredients. The potatoes and green beans are also seasoned well. We try to get there for happy hour- cheap beer, but Cold and Fresh! Sky is an awesome bartender! Great music and vibe as well 5 stars and ❤️❤️ ??“

“Good food, good service always. I am a regular lunch time customer. My favorite Oscar's ladies are Christine (Friday), Casey (Wednesday and Thursdays) and Mauri(sp?) on Tuesdays. All very friendly and professional.“

“I went there for Tuesday steak nite. Filet for $20 with baked pot, bread, and veg was surprisingly good and prepared. Kenny at the bar was a good waiter as well as a friendly bartender. Introduced himself and shook hands. An unexpededly nice and comfortable dining experience at a Veterans Blvd primarily bar.“

I had the boudin rolls which were fantastic. They had a darts league going on and everyone seemed friendly and jovial which added a great element to the space. Speakers are at like face height so convo can be hard but its a sports bar so loud comes with the territory“

“Under new management! I had the black n bacon blue cheese burger. Best seasoned burger I've had in a long time. Atmosphere is great and Rob (new owner) was a great host. Very friendly crowd.“
