“picked up a to-go order, slight issue with order coming through. get there, no order’s been put in. They apologize, and throw in free french fries. Something about my order came through as 2 burgers. We come back 20 minutes later. Not only do they bring out my food TO me but they also threw in the 2 burgers that the mix up came through as for free! Ray was the gentleman who assisted me, couldn’t have been more pleasant. 10/10 choice for dinner tonight on service alone“

They were happy to put an obscure soccer match on a big screen for us, cook us delicious food (the fish and chips were a highlight, as were the weekend special Buffalo chicken dip egg rolls), and pour us some great drinks. “the other day was my first time going as it was recommended by a good friend. it is, hands down ,my new favorite establishment in new orleans! the staff were very friendly and welcoming. they were quick to point me to menu favorites that i,a meat eater, and my friend, a vegetarian ,both loved! I had the hot sausage burger and gumbo and my friend had the island veggie burger.any bar that throws down for Bowies birthday is tops in my book. the vibe is very true art forward as well as the patrons. .Even though I was new to a lot of the crowd it seemed like they were happy I was there. i will be back!10/10 stars.“

“When I saw $21.95 for a 20oz ribeye I kinda chuckled in my head and expected a Waffle House type steak. I asked the waitress if it was good and she simply said “yeah, it’s good”. What transpired a few minutes later made me contemplate everything I thought I knew about a good ribeye. This thing was melt in your mouth, perfectly cooked, and had an absolutely astonishing flavor. Kick the price out the door. I live almost 4 hours away and would pay $80 for that steak as I type. It was so good I went back for another the next night. Gladly passing up all the other opportunities that NOLA has to offer. Weirdly the same people who we sat next to the night before were at the table next to us ordering the steak again. Astonishing what you get for the price. I could make a whole separate rant about how good the potato skins and gumbo are as well. Great job!!!! Best experience of our whole trip.“

“This was my first time visiting the area, and I am so grateful that I came here for lunch during my work trip to the nearby event center. Amazing food and delicious beverages on tap, but the really special part was the staff - they were so thoughtful and honestly blew my mind at how they kept up with the lunch rush from a big conference, all while being incredibly kind and serving up the best Cuban sandwich I've ever had. Looking forward to coming back here soon.“

“I went into the Bronx Bar, which is the bar side of New York Pizzeria, a half an hour before closing to grab some take-out Italian for my chef husband to eat when he got home after working a night shift. I got the pasta marinara with meatballs since we were burned out on delivery pizza. I was plesantly surprised. The kitchen was technically closed for the night, but you could get certain menu items if you ordered at the bar. The food was excellent-the meatballs were definitely homemade, and the bartender gave me a free soda as I waited at the bar for my food to come out of the kitchen. I recommend this place, very good for a late-night bite to go.“

“Evivva is such a gem of a place. As soon as you walk in you are greeted by friendly people, and everyone who takes care of you is so efficient and sweet. The food is incredible, and so fresh. It can be difficult to stand out in New Orleans, but in my opinion Evivva does just that.“

“Came to assess the cheesesteak situation and was not disappointed at all. For those of you on the look out for a legit Philly cheesesteak in the area - this one hits. Amoroso’s rolls are overnighted and steak is on point. White American is the name of the game here (no wiz) and Eddie assured me they make EVERYTHING to order. His family owns Cousins grocery on 5th Street so I had high expectations. Idk if this is the absolute BEST in the city (Yinzers is tough to beat) but without a doubt Sopranos is a top contender. Extra points for the combo deal with free cold drink as well as their impressive selection of drinks/sodas.

“If you are neuro divergent and need a relatively quite place to take refuge from the chaos of the street, this is the place! The music is a normal level - not normal for bars, regular normal - and the staff was very acomodating. Mocksville was great as well and my friend enjoyed his hurricane. Thank goodness!“

“No real outside signage to inform walkers that a bar and restaurant is there. No clear entrance to bar/restaurant unless you are a guest at the hotel. Only managed to stumble across it by word of mouth. The lighting is a bit too dim, way too loud to hear the bartender, kept having to ask him to repeat himself. Really limited vegetarian options on the menu but the feed green tomato sandwich is good. The service and knowledgeable recommendations by Austin were excellent, Glenn was extremely nice and helpful.“
