“I lived in Chalmette for years and thought Beignets and More was just a coffee shop. It is a hidden gem. The food is amazing. The people that own it are great. I recommend the combination pho but I have never been disappointed by anything I have ordered.”

“Made a trip here for the first time today. The food was delicious and the portions enormous. We got the level 3 to start, and didn’t find it too spicy; but my husband and I love chilis and the endorphin rush that comes with them. Next time we will try 4 or 5. I appreciate the policy for no exchanges or refunds for food that is too spicy. At other Thai restaurants we ask for food to be Thai hot, and we usually get blown off. We’ll be back!!”

“I bought this cup for my sister while she was visiting for Mardi Gras. When she went to wash it out this happened. I spent $20 on this cup. She didn't use bleach or anything that would make it do this. Service was Great and the Lady was there by herself.”

“My husband goes to Julies almost every day after work for 2 hours. I go with him sometimes. The bar tender SHANNON it a good bartender, welcoming committee and keeps going from one of the bar to the out her. By the time she makes drinks or beer around the bar, it's time to start over again. “Grow up with randazzo's baked goods. Happened to be in St Bernard parish and could not resist stopping by to get my fix on my way back out of town.

They have a chewy macaroon type cookie both in chocolate and anise flavor which is my all-time favorite. Of course I also had to get some of their cake chocolate iced donuts as well. Nona randazzo's bakery goods are not cheap by any means, but that's true for all private bakeries. Nona randazzo's goods are as good or better than any other bakery in the New Orleans area.”

“I use to go to “Burritos grill” for lunch. The service there was terrible, shared salsa with a table or 5 every single time I sat down. Service was horrendous. Came to this establishment and immediately welcomed with a kind server. Amazing service and great atmosphere. I give it 5 stars.”

We had celebrated my Nanny's,77th birthday here.
Honestly It was my 2nd time here & LOVED BOTH TIMES. Played pool , loved that huge ?? / The darts were very nice too. I Love the patio. Spent 3 hrs here. HAD A GOOD TIME. (FYI I suggest coming here for Halloween costume contest - That was my 1st time and FULL BAR / INSIDE & OUT) HAD A BLAST danced the night away) If I could change 1 thing I'd add more independent artist to the jukebox! I know they can I worked at a bar had the same company jukebox!

OVERALL I can't wait to go to The backyard again. Day or night it's A GREAT ATMOSPHERE! Certainly going to try to win The Halloween contest 2024! Wish me luck lol
I'd recommend The backyard bar, to anyone of any age group 21-30 30 -40 & even 70 plus my Nanny, Aunts, Uncle's & My Grandpa,94yrs old didn't drink alcohol but he enjoyed kicking butt on that pool table.
Definitely check this place out ! It's a Winner to me!

Also indoors is spacious with large dance floor, stage, perfect lighting nice table's, OH the and dart boards are professional.Love the Dart board section. 2 pool tables, I remembered a foosball table for the October 2023 Halloween Costume Contest & Party ? sure. Didnt see one for the PartyAug10th2024 ?
Oh I do have 1 tiny thing to ask the owner "CAN YOU PLEASE GET A LADIES BATHROOM" I'm sure your aware it's a little small. If you need help with ideas, I'm ya girl. My husband's, a Ace plumber! My son's a perfectionist, he transforms- remodels homes & businesses indoors and outdoors!
I'm not saying anything bad about your bar, I'm just giving advice on the bathrooms!

“So today I brought my family to UMI Hibachi and sushi in Chalmette to celebrate the twins birthday. We was given the lunch menu and ordered of the the lunch menu. I saw the the kids meal was $9.99 and the Lunch meal was $10.50. I specifically ask the young man what was the 50 cent difference between the kids lunch meal and the regular lunch meal . He told me that the lunch meal came with noodles. So I told him we’ll just give my boys a regular lunch meal. As he started to bring out the salad and soup I notice he only brought out one set for one of my boys. I told him I want the lunch meal for all of them. So he came back with more 2 sets of salad and soup. After we finish eating I get my bill and he charge us for the dinner combination Vs the lunch meal. I told him that not what I ordered. The dinner combination meals are $26.99 each . He said that we received dinner combinations portions so that what I have to paid for. First, I don’t have a problem with paying but that not what I ordered. I ask to speak with the manager . The manager send the waiter back and told him to tell us that there’s no negotiation it’s either we pay are else . So I’m the wrong individual to threaten like that. I send him back to his manger to tell her I’m not paying for nothing I didn’t ordered. The manager then came out and said the owner said that either we pay the dinner combination price or they was going to call the police . Now I feel very disrespected because you’re trying to make me pay for something I didn’t ordered, you’re also not trying to negotiate. So I told them to call the cop because the cop don’t scare me. The cop came and heard both side of the story . Ì eventually paid for what I originally ordered but the owner also ban me from the establishment. I’m writing this because this restaurant treated me and my family very unfairly. We went in there to celebrate the twins birthday because that what they wanted . If this was a black business ppl would blast them all over the internet. Please don’t go to to this business. Especially if you’re black… The owner wasn’t there but I know he knew I was black and while he was on the phone he kept telling the cop that I know he don’t want to paid . The cop kept telling him the guy has no problem with paying but only what he ordered. He ban me because they was wrong lol .. I already had it in my mind that I’ll never go back anyways .. Once again THANK YOU UMI Hibachi and sushi in Chalmette for messing up my sons birthday celebration…”
