“We were on vacation for one of our kids wedding The hotel we were staying at is located just in front of the restaurant What an amazing find to have this kind of food and wonderful atmosphere right around the corner of the hotel in walking distance Less than 5 minutes Can’t say enough about the staff from the hostesses to the servers and the wonderful chefs The 1st time we sat at the bar to watch the food being made which helped with selection 2nd time we sat at a table because we knew what we wanted Overall experience with my family coming to the restaurant is you’re missing out on one of the best kept secrets Absolutely delicious and wonderful meal From start to finish My Family & I want to say thank you so much for taking care of us and making us feel at home“

“Great experience at Venezia Gretna! The food was good, the atmosphere was nice, and the service was excellent. Everyone was very friendly—from the hostess to the server and even the gentleman outside watching the cars. We were a walk-in and got seated quickly, which was a plus. They also have plenty of space for both small groups and larger parties. Would definitely come back!“

“This Italian themed restaurant simply does not disappoint on any level. The ambiance, staff, knowledge of menu and the food are all simply outstanding!! I really love the interior design, the warm atmosphere, the soft music playing in the background at the perfect level. Please visit but do not miss out on their house salad with an exceptional dressing (which is also bottled for purchase) and the lasagna! The pecan crusted catfish is also a guaranteed hit.“

“My daughter and I were originally going for the special Feast if the Seven Fishes. The restaurant called me earlier in the day to let me know that it was not going to be featured that night and gave me the option to cancel. We decided to go any way and were wonderfully surprised. We did the Chef's pairing menu and it was delicious! Nice portions, perfect temperature and timed well. I'm picky about the timing and temperature and I was not disappointed. The food was amazing. I'd go back next week !“

“After getting into town late and checking into my hotel(Hampton Inn directly behind the restaurant), I realized how hungry I was. It was relatively late for dinner but I checked out Ditali's menu, saw that they were still open and decided to order the Calzone. I ordered online without any issues. Maaann....was I in for surprise. One of the legit best meals I've had in a long time! The portions are huge and the marinara was excellent! The staff were very friendly and were very helpful when I picked up! I will most certainly be recommending and dining with Ditali's again!“

“We are forever customers! Not only is the food amazing and the staff top notch, East of Italy goes out of their way to accommodate guest. We wanted to book a party and they went above and beyond to make it happen. Our son’s celebration was everything and more. We haven’t had a meal we didn’t like. “By Far the best food we have eaten here in New Orleans so far!! Highly recommend! There were 6 of us and every one of us loved our plates. They have a variety to choose from and the portion sizes are huge! Not to mention the great service! The waiters and waitress are the best!!! If you’re here in New Orleans don’t miss out!!“
