“We decided to try lunch at this place after seeing positive reviews on Facebook. I must say they were right. The food here is excellent. I ordered the Tortas/ Carne Asada, and my girlfriend ordered the Taco Salad. Both were excellent, very fresh, and delicious. the prices are very affordable. We were served chips and salsa while our food was being prepared, those too, were excellent. I will definitely be going back here.”
“First selling point...Drive thru!!! Pull up order your frozen daiquiri (for adults only) and start your night. Best daiquiris in the area! Love the White Russian daiquiri! Service is usually great too! Very reasonable prices!”
“The owners and staff are all amazing! I love every flavor I have had so far and want to try so many more! The inspirational quotes that come with every drink is an added uplift to any day I get I get a tea or shake!”
“OMG!!! The food was awesome ? My husband got the roast beef sandwich and he kept telling me how good it was. We also got baked mac, onion strings and grilled chicken sandwich. Everything was really delicious ? We will be back.”
“OmG!! By far the best snowball place in the parish!!! Check it out and tell me if I'm wrong because I guarantee I'm not!! They have a bunch of other stuff as well! The flavored pickles are awesome as well! I would give it 10 stars if I could!!”
“My girls and I finally made it to Ben's Pizza. We would pass by every weekend and never get a chance to stop. So today we did. Everything was really good. The staff was so nice. Definitely coming back.”
“The service was slow for "fast food", but they were very nice & apologetic abt it. Even upgraded my drink for no extra charge. But it did take almost 30 mins from the time I ordered at the kiosk till I walked out w/my food.”
“I came across this, crew if I may and they were such team players. They all greeted me when I came in and had smiles on their faces. But the service was even better. I didn't catch their names like I should have but it was two women and one man. I know the man's name is Will. And for the two women they were plus William, great conversation holders. Not too much and not too little. And the food dressed amazingly and everything was fresh, it had my taste buds screaming for more. Thank you.”
“Order was quick... establishment was very clean...hopefully it will stay that way. Too cold inside... ladies faucet sprays out of the side and splashes you. Also gets on walls and floor. Told the staff bye... no reply... maybe they were preoccupied with filling the phone order.”
“Paladar 511 came highly recommended by the locals, which is always a good sign. Everything about this place was exceptional. We will definitely return when back in NOLA.”
“It’s been a while since we visited Plume, but we have always had SUCH a great experience! The food is delicious - my favs include the fried chicken and the naan. If you can’t eat in, the food travels/delivers very well to your house and is still very yummy!”
“In desperate need of a low-key quiet atmosphere in New Orleans, this place hit the spot.Quaint, quiet, some chill live music and some decent wine which is a major challenge in NOLO.Not a huge fan of the self-service wine and cheese board but it worked! Nice outdoor patio.”
“I stopped here on the way home from New Orleans, only 2 miles off I-10, so not really out of the way. We have a long drive, so I selected a steamed char sui bun, Pate Chaud, meat pie, Crawfish pie, coconut macaroons, mochi, and a pineapple bar. Omg, the Crawfish pie! It had so much filling, Crawfish, bamboo shoots, scallions, and seasonings I'm not sure of, but it was very spicy and delicious! I'm trying to find a recipe for it in my Vietnamese cooking group, because Google turned up nothing. The Pate Chaud was delicious too, but not as much filling as I wanted. The coconut macaroons were amazing, and surprisingly made without sweetened condensed milk, but you would never know that except for the ingredient list. The pineapple bar was not too sweet, as it looked, perfect for me. The mochi were delicious, with the all familiar chew. Have two more pies to sample, but I have no doubt they will be delicious too!”
“such a cute lil spot. only got one dish and it was very good (crudités) and wish i could go regularly to try more stuff because what i had was so promising! but the star of what i tried was the soft serve (chocolate with chili crisp), it was smooth and creamy and a nice level of chocolate. good vibes and folks. if i lived in new orleans would hit this spot up often!”
“Booked BABs on a whim as part of a quick getaway to NOLA. Was not disappointed! Creative mocktail and cocktail menu. Wonderful beer and wine list. Appetizers were heavenly and exquisite. Entrees were fresh and delicious, while being new takes on American cuisine. Staff was eager to please while not being snide or fake. Opinions were honest and questions were thoroughly answered. We're very guarded of our New Orleans meals when we visit. I won't hesitate to book Bywater American Bistro on our next trip!”
“Best beignets ever! You also can't go wrong with their other delicious desserts. This was recommended by locals and now I see why. We are always bringing some home everytime. Light and flaky, not thick. The Rampart location has more selection, but you can grab your favorites in the French Market”
“One of the BEST reuben sandwichs we've had. Ribs were great as well as the pulled pork. We had potato salad and Mac N cheese which they put their spin on too. Absolutely fantastic!”
“According to the hostess, this was originally an old rectory that they renovated and turned into a charming, warm and inviting space with kitschy seating. Upon entering, there is a dining space similar to a front room that leads into a livingroom complete with a fireplace. If you walk down the hallway, there is a curtained dining nook as well as an indoor patio and a lively bar area. They also have a super cute outdoor, open air dining space with plenty of seats. The house made focaccia was very delicious and a must! The oysters were good as they were from the east coast. We really enjoyed the roasted gulf shrimp, but we were not told that the heads would be on nor is it written in the description on the menu; so be prepared. Our main dishes consisted of the chicken under a brick and the daily fish of halibut. Both dishes were delicious! They only have two options for dessert and our chocolate tart did not look like the photo on their website but it was still good. The lavender semifreddo was fire! I couldn't stop eating it!Our waitress did a good job but there were a few things overlooked, like not being cognizant of empty water glasses, letting dishes pile up and not changing out our silverware and plates, however, she was in training, so we didn't say anything. This is definitely a neighborhood gem and not to be missed.”
“This place is amazing. I found it by chance since it was right next to my air bnb and wow. This is probably the best pizza I have ever had. We ordered the burrata, the Caesar salad and we ordered the Bianca pizza with some modifications. The burrata was delicious as was the Caesar salad. Even the pizza was amazing. The pizza was so good I had to take it to the airport the next day and people were asking me where it was from, it was that good. I’ve never had truffle ricotta before and it was a dream. Definitely recommend this place if you’re local or planning on visiting Frenchmen street”
“The waiter/person who took my order was great, and when i asked for a vegan burger, he made sure to ask how i wanted the burger, if i wanted vegan cheese or not, if i wanted the order to be completely vegan or vegetarian... the burger was so delicious, i had to check if it was actually vegan. the fries were hot and fresh (so was the burger) and not greasy at all. i will definitely visit again. Only note is that when you enter, the Slap burger kitchen is to the right, and there is a tabletop counter with some stools, and a window to order, a pick-up window that gives a view of the cooks cooking while you wait. Only cash seems to be accepted at the bar for now. but Slap burger takes both form of payments. Updated from previous review on 2024-03-02”
“vaughan's is always a great place to grab drink after work. this was an after work stop for bday drinks for a friend/co-worker. it's was an excellent night. lot's of great discussions about oddball topics?so yeah, we had a blast. bday drinks after work was an excellent plan, and vaughans was the perfect place for that to happen.”
“Quaint little shop on a sweet little corner in a charming little neighborhood. Staff are friendly, attentive and very good at what they do. Great selection of desserts and lunch items.”
“Yummy fresh food and fantastic coffee. My cacciatore was good but it was in so small of a cup I could barely hold it! Two drinks!! ?Parking: It's in a neighborhood so you have to park along the street wherever you can.”
“This was the first time i had crawfish and it was amazing. Owner is super nice and accommodating and i loved the vibe. Very sporty but still able to have a conversation. Safe to say 5 stars for everything!”
“GREAT BBQ spot. Awesome selection of meats, pies, and sides. I got the pulled pork and mac and cheese (pictured) but we also had some amazing baked beans, corn bread, ribs, and burnt bits in my group and all ate in happy, fulfilled silence as we enjoyed some really really good food. Staff were all friendly and efficient. Everything was clean. Great price for food and drinks”
“Best overall food experience ever! Every course was meticulously prepared and described perfectly so we could know exactly what we were tasting in every bite. the wine pairings were absolute perfection. Superb chefs, and the entire staff was friendly and professional. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”
“I can't even begin to describe how much I LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! My daughter & I have made it our go-to spot. We're usually there twice a week at least. The bahn mi sandwiches are SO GOOD! The owner is the sweetest & kindest man I've ever met. All of the employees are very friendly & very efficient at their jobs. I just can't say enough good things about this establishment & the people who make you feel so welcome.”
“This is one of my absolute favorite restaurants in New Orleans. The food is outstanding, without trying too hard or overdoing it in any way. Pairings of flavors are superb, the food is consistently outstanding, and the service is knowledgeable and spot on. The location is perfect, too.”
“Wow! What a find thanks to the Hotel staff! A worker who also was staying at the same hotel said I had to try it! Not disappointing at all. Short staffed but not a problem as the manager coached her team to success. Everyone was flying around helping with all diners! I ordered an ice cold beer to start and ordered one of the pick your fish dishes - choice of three fish (redfish, mahi, or red snapper) prepared three different ways. Thai, Creola or St Catherine! I went with the redfish creola! The picture says it all! Perfectly seasoned and cooked! Lump crabmeat and tomato on top with a butter sauce. The side of fries and green beans were perfect! The green bean cook was something else with garlic to boot! A great compliment to the dish! The restaurant is small but nicely decorated and a lot of fun. Watching the staff interact with the local clients was something else like family! If my work returns me back I will be there again!!”
