“My family decided to try something new today, so this was our first time eating Indian cuisine and our waiter, Sandip, made it the best experience and saw to it that we wouldn't regret our decision. He suggested a variety of dishes which were All delicious. This was a rare instance in my family were everyone was happy with their meal! This was literally the best service which I have received at any restaurant, no exaggeration! To top it off, the bill was much lower than I was expecting. We will definitely de regular patrons here and encourage you to try something new. Thank you again Sandip!”

“I drove around this place a few days ago and decided to stop today. I wish I would've taken a photo but the food was so hot and fresh I couldn't help but to dig in. At first, I was on the fence about the sauce not being tossed on the tenders however once I got out of that mindset, I was very pleased and preferred that the sauce was on the side. The tenders were so crunchy, juicy, and fresh, the fries were seasoned perfectly, crispy, and hot. To my surprise they have crushed ice similar to sonic ice but not as big. So for all my ice eaters who love to finish their drink, shake the cup, and eat the ice, this place is for you. There's also outdoor seating incase you'd want to sit down to eat. Thanks, Guys 10/10”

I chose to get the pork chop lunch and it was delicious. It came with two giant pork chops that were fried to perfection with delicious sides. I recommend cafe 615 for those who are hungry and want an affordable meal that is hot and delicious.”

Personally, I dearly miss the hole in the wall mexican steam table restaurants that dish out like a panda express. All that being said, we love this place. “Went into this store after shopping at the Hong Kong Market, what a convenient location! I got a grilled pork banh mi and am avocado bubble tea. There is no indoor seating; everything is taken to-go. My bubble tea was very thick and I think that's fairly standard for avocado but this was my first time having it. It was delicious. My banh mi was simple and filling, glad I tried it. Both items were prepared very quickly and the staff was nice.”

This is my “comfort food” at any Chinese restaurant. For those who don’t know this dish, it is boneless chicken (breast meat or thigh meat), breaded and deep fried… laid out onto a bed of lettuce, topped with brown sauce, and served with fried rice and your choice of egg roll, two veg spring rolls, crab rangoon, or chu chu (I think that’s mirliton but I’m not sure).There was A LOT OF FOOD. They do not skimp on portions. Everything was great, except for the brown sauce. This one had cumin in it (I think it was cumin, it could have been another spice) and it really kind of ruined the flavor for me. I like cumin, but not really with that sauce. My only gripe… everything else was delicious, and next time I go I’ll get something else. I’m definitely going back, even though it is way out of the way for me.I took lots of pictures, check them out. The place is just really nice on the inside… how a Chinese restaurant is supposed to be. Very relaxing. ?”

The fries here aren't great but the onion rings were phenomenal - perfectly crispy and well seasoned.”

I ordered a latte that is perfect, not all foam like I get from chains. The chocolate croissant reminded me of pastries I’ve had in Europe - buttery but not greasy, with high-quality dark chocolate that wasn’t ruined by lots of refined sugar. If I could give six stars for atmosphere, they would get six stars. The Baristas here know their products to the smallest detail; you can tell from the way they you questions about your order. They laugh and joke with customers but not at the expense of their work. They laugh WHILE working, not INSTEAD of working. If there was an Academy Awards for small businesses, this one would take the gold.”

“I go to this location often as it's close to where I work. I always order using the app; sometimes I go to the drive-thru for pickup, sometimes I go in, depending on the drive-thru line. The staff does a great job at getting orders done quickly. They're friendly and, if I have to wait a minute or two when I go in, they always apologize. It's so refreshing to go to a place where the people are pleasant, do a great job with smiles on their faces and get the orders done quickly. Today's visit ended with the awesome young lady serving up drinks throwing in some vodka soaked gummy bears! Don't be fooled by the deliciousness and how quick they go down! “They were very busy, and I believed to be understaffed. We waited for an hour to eat, then addition 45 mins to get our food. They didn't have silverware, so we got plasticware. Which worked. There were a few other issues, but I found it was because there were not enough employees for the number of people.”

“I keep getting the same menu item every time, but it's just so fresh! The quality here is superior to many Mexican restaurants and it justifies the higher prices (on some things). The cocktails are amazing and reasonably priced. I like having a location on the West Bank although Lakeview rocks with their beautiful outdoor/patio seating. For me, having a gluten free menu and knowledgeable staff makes all the difference, and I will continue to choose Gato Negro over any other Mexican restaurant!”

“The cashier Shwron was very nice and courteous to not only me, but the other customers she waited on. She was very patient and took the time to answer all questions I had about the menu. Also I noticed her wiping down tables in between customers. She appeared to be an exceptionally hard worker. If I had the power to do so I would give her a raise.”
