Love this place. The owner is a great friend, a decorated retired firemen. Can tell you true stories that will have you laughing or maybe brings a tear to your eyes.

My favorite place, friends atmosphere a place to cool down after your ride, and looking forward to the return of date night

Plaisance's Bar is an amazing place in Gretna, family-owned and operated for a long time. The owner, Mensy, along with his dog Jax, greets everyone with a smile. The bartenders, Sheila and Tina, are amazing too. They serve home-cooked food periodically, always delicious. The atmosphere is welcoming, with great people, video poker, and a fantastic jukebox. They have unique alcohol surprises and make everyone feel like part of the family. If you're in the area, it's highly recommended to stop by, have a drink, and enjoy the warm and friendly environment at Plaisance's Bar.
