“Always good service , best bar food on the Westbank. The bartenders will learn your name if you set foot in there on a semi regular basis and take care of you like you’ve been coming for decades.“
“The place wasn't very busy when I went there on a Thursday night, but it's always nice to chat with Perry. The server Olivia was attentive and sweet, but then I've never met one of Perry's bartenders that I didn't like. Drink prices are very reasonable and I'll definitely go back.“

“Love this place great people to hang around bartender is wonderful and on key. Doorman politis person I've ever dealt with in Louisiana. He definitely gives the term Southern hospitality it's true meaning great guy. Definitely would recommend to friends.

“I didn't know what I was walking in to, but I was glad this place was right around the corner from my hotel. After a disappointment at the IHOP across the street, Spanky's made sure I'll stay at the Hampton again to be able to walk over, have a burger, and just vibe with the DJ or play some pool. And the staff was the best. I appreciate their professionalism.“
“My family likes coming when we can for karaoke. The guy who runs it is awesome and because he uses videos from youtube, it makes it easy to practice at home before going out. Bonus is the drinks are always good too. Their seasonal drinks are always worth trying. Their king cake martini is good and I had a summer cocktail once that tasted like angel food cake.“

“A very dive-bar atmosphere, but with charm. I really enjoyed my time here. The drinks were moderately priced and made with care and consideration. My friend requested a gin drink and the bartender asked her a bunch of questions about her taste preferences and made her a fantastic drink. They have an extremely extensive whiskey selection and have Whiskey Wednesday discounts on all the options. The bartender was super friendly too.“

“0n a recommendation from our small haunted hotel we hit MRB for lunch. The catfish po boy was outstanding. Their drink specials were just right and reasonably priced. “A great place, with great people, caring about their locals is something I witnessed a couple weeks ago. They allowed for a fundraiser to be set up for a patron dealing with a bout of cancer. It was a wonderful time and that speaks volumes about this establishment. More places should take note of this place and it's employees and owners. They give clearly give back what they put in when it comes to work, dedication, and drive.“
