Its like traveling back to the 80s. Karaoke good steaks and drinks. You can smoke inside too lol. The service is super friendly and kind. Loved it
After my second visit, I was hooked. An extremely innovative menu, friendly and efficient service with a chill vibe. Just met the owner, he was bussing tables and wiping down countertops. Luke Mendez is an owner to be respected. The food is stellar and worth every penny you pay.Just remember to tip graciously.
Single handedly my favorite bar in Louisiana. My girlfriend and I played cards on the end of the bar and couldn't get enough of the good food and cheap beer. The staff was incredible.

The bartenders and food preparers are friendly and dedicated, providing a great selection of beer, alcohol, and a new food menu. The food has been highly praised, especially the .89 cent wings on Mondays, the top-notch salads, and the homecooked specials based on Mawmaw Sis's recipes. The menu now features delicious options at very reasonable prices, and there are plenty of choices for different tastes, including a peanut butter bacon & Swiss burger for burger fans and a tuna steak salad that’s perfect for sharing with a side. The Tavern is a perfect place for watching sports games, attending trivia nights (Tuesdays with free shots for players), or just relaxing with a cigar and a cold drink. The warm and inviting atmosphere, with comfortable sofas and chairs in cozy nooks, will make visitors feel right at home. The staff is helpful and creates a friendly environment, making it a great spot for fun and good food.
