“Pulled pork Yatchos are the best!!!!! Bar tenders are super friendly and always greet with smiles.
Parking: It is located in a neighborhood where most houses have street parking only. You may have to park a block away and walk there.“

“Recently went for lunch at MRB during our vacation in New Orleans. It was the best gumbo we had on our whole trip, and we had it at a few places! I also loved the fried green tomato sandwich. Don't let the fact that this is a food truck in the courtyard of a bar deceive you...food is delish!!“

“Ricky was an amazing bartender! Absolutely made us all feel welcomed and took great care of us! We come to the hotel frequently over the years and have never had a bartender quite as personable and friendly as he was! This man deserves a spot in heaven!“

“Don’t sleep on the Schooner! They were happy to put an obscure soccer match on a big screen for us, cook us delicious food (the fish and chips were a highlight, as were the weekend special Buffalo chicken dip egg rolls), and pour us some great drinks. Amazing vibes during the day and at night, wonderful staff (hi guys!) and cozy atmosphere. Can’t recommend highly enough.“

“One of our new favorite places! Close to home and within walking distance between warehouse district, dt, & cod neighborhoods. Their menu selection is amazing, with wide selection of ciders, beers, & bourbon, & pretty much any cocktail you can think of at also some pretty affordable prices. Turns out the food can be ordered through their neighboring venue, the Sidecar, which looks delicious and we cant wait to try it out...! Many youth and people were dining and having a great time which set the tone for the place :) We met a few of the bartenders, including Lee, who were really welcoming too. My boyfriend had some cognac and I had a coffee cocktail.
Let me know what you think of it!“

Parking: Don't park on the neutral ground cause you never know when the city will show up to ticket cars“

“We do not recommend! I have never been treated so poorly as a local at a bar in New Orleans EVER! We have family with us from Indiana and wanted to experience an “Indiana” bar. The locals were terrible, the bartender was rude. They all took an active role in making it uncomfortable for all four of us by berating us for ordering a bloody Mary after 2pm. Would have been totally fine with just saying, "sorry, we arent offering/making those right now". Would have gladly ordered another Miller Lite (which we ordered one of and got a high life - didnt say a word, I like high life, too and figured she midheard me or did she??) Heard enough from her and the "in crowd" finally, threw her a $20 and told her we were sorry to cause trouble and left. Hope you buy yourself something pretty with the hefty, less than deserved tip. Anyone who visits this neighborhood….stay away!! Visit Markeys, Pepps or anywhere else! If you aren't one of their group, apparently you are not welcome.“

“Retro Punkz is the absolute best. Had them for my wedding this weekend, and it was legitimately legendary. They have the best energy that can get ANYBODY on the dance floor. They have incredible talent and Vegas & JoJo are the nicest, most incredible people to work with to make your vision a reality. I love coming to Famous Door when I'm in town to experience their shows.“

“0n a recommendation from our small haunted hotel we hit MRB for lunch. The catfish po boy was outstanding. Their drink specials were just right and reasonably priced. Two days later, we went back to try the alligator sandwich and some charbroiled oysters also spot Definitely would not call this a tourist trap. It’s like most of Nola, funky, functional and fun. Don’t confuse with Mr bs“

“Fantastic little neighborhood dive bar, but with limited menu; Google has old menu- no fish. But, good food, reasonably priced drinks; I had 12 year old single malt scotch for $8/shot. Covered and walled patio in back so I could smoke my cigar out of the wind and rain.“
“The music was really good and engaging“

“If you are ever on the West Bank in NOLA.....you have to try this place. It has been there forever and my dad used to go there when he was stationed in NOLA while serving in the Marine Corp. and that was back in the 70's. Try their bloody marys. They are my fav!“

“The food was absolutely amazing! During our 5-day stay in New Orleans, we visited most of the city’s most popular restaurants, but surprisingly, the best food we had was right here at the Hyatt Regency restaurant. The shrimp, gumbo, oysters, and sushi were all delicious and top-notch.
Manager Arina and Kaleb made our evening truly special — warm, attentive, and full of great energy. Next time I’m in New Orleans, this will be the first place I come back to for an incredible meal.“

“Sneaky Pete's is the Quintessential neighborhood pub. For a week we spent in New Orleans it became our home base, where we ended each night of exploring. Great vibe, low key and spacious enough for all of us to catch up and unwind. The staff were incredibly welcoming and kind, made us feel at home! Will certainly return on future trips“

“One of the most iconic bars/restaurants nestled in the Uptown area, steps away from Tulane and Loyola Universities, this establishment is a must. With its lowkey college feel, good food and incredible drink specials, how can you miss.
Dont take my word for it, go check it out.
Pro-Tip: Wednesday nights are the best 👌

“Great food and great service! The owner is very helpful. We own a small dive bar in MS and we have used many of the ideas that Cooter Browns does! This is a stop for us when we are in town.“
