Cooter Brown's Tavern Reviews
Great food and great service! The owner is very helpful. We own a small dive bar in MS and we have used many of the ideas that Cooter Browns does! This is a stop for us when we are in town.
EB was amazing. It was the last stop before we came back to Little Rock. We didn't want to leave New Orleans and it was the perfect spot to stick around until we had to come home. See y'all again soon!
The customer service is superb customer service, and the food was amazing.

Cooter Brown's Tavern is a cozy pub located at the end of the Charles Street streetcar route. Despite its unassuming exterior, the interior is a charming old-fashioned bar serving excellent pub grub. The menu features a variety of options, including burgers, PoBoys, fried food, and crawfish. The oyster bar is a standout, offering a great selection of oysters and beers to pair with them. The atmosphere is relaxed, making it a great spot for adults to enjoy comfort food and drinks. The bar offers a huge selection of beers, and the owners are known for being genuinely good humans. The restaurant also provides vegan options, such as a bean patty on a spinach salad, which customers have found to be very tasty. Visitors appreciate the helpful owner and the excellent service. The blue cheese bacon burger is highly recommended, with the beef and bacon cooked to perfection and the blue cheese being especially praised.
The dark old school sports bar vibe adds to its charm, making it a popular stop for streetcar bar crawls or to watch favorite teams on the many TVs. While the oysters are fresh and inexpensive, they may not appeal to everyone. The food overall is considered great, with the PoBoys and fried pickles receiving praise, although some have found the PoBoys to be dry. The crowd is friendly, and the atmosphere is lively for those looking to enjoy a good meal and drinks in a 21+ venue.
