Food was Awesome! Freshest Yummiest Oysters that were half off! Catfish was so yummy but small portion beware. Amazing craft beers and great service. Not a bar but fun nonetheless. ??P.S Clean Bathroom
Local bar catering to the college crowd as well as locals. We didn't have food this time around but their po boys and burgers are great. $12 pitchers of beer can't be beat.

I thoroughly enjoy my experiences at Cooter Brown's Tavern. During my recent visit – not my first – I indulged in their delicious fried oysters, which were simply outstanding. Additionally, their fried fish and cheese fries surpassed my expectations. The service was prompt and welcoming, contributing to the establishment's laid-back atmosphere. Undoubtedly, Cooter Brown's Tavern ranks among my favorite spots in New Orleans.

Favorite tavern for oysters, beers & fantastic pub food. Under 21 not allowed inside, but you can get your food and eat at the picnic tables outside.
The oysters were great the wings were on point… wasn’t many ppl in there but it’s cozy and I know it does get packed. Oysters didn’t get all milky… a bit overpriced food but made up with it in beer.Parking: You can park by railroad

I love oysters and found Cooters by word of mouth. It was years ago and that large platter was half price after 10pm. I did the platter myself.

Plenty of TVs to watch a game. They were accommodating and put on a game I wanted to watch. I had a burger that was great, but a little pricey.
