“I have been sending people to Bar Tonique for close to a year from my position as liquor vault manager at the Sazerac House. So many return to tell me what a great experience they had & to thank me for recommending it. I have left the position at Sazerac House & won't be sending any more from there, Good luck to all the craftsmen & women behind this truly wonderful place!“
“All the above, great atmosphere, great people! Top notch with the most welcoming and friendly people! Wish I could give it 6 stars!“

“I just wanted to say what an amazing staff you have! My husband and I have been trying to get to drip for a while now and we finally made it. It was a spur of the moment so I didn’t make reservations. We sat at the bar and to see the interactions with the staff warmed my heart! Emily ( behind the bar) was excellent! She was so patient with the staff, while she never stopped working, she still made time to tend to her customers, answer questions for the staff and even teach them how to do things to help. I adore your establishment and wish we would ah e come sooner! But we WILL be back! and you guys will always be a top recommendation for everyone who asks places to go! Your staff from the door to the bar EXCELLENT! Kudos! the desserts and drinks were amazing! Cheers to DRIP and to many more years!“

“My favorite bar in New Orleans! Amazing staff with great service, always friendly and ready for conversation. Queer/trans-friendly. Quirky weird shit playing on the TVs. Usually late night food trucks from local vendors, including awesome yakamein, a New Orleans classic.“

“This is a high end bar on the second floor of The Windsor Court Hotel. Very cute boutique hotel with all of the amenities. The bar can be pretty loud when it’s busy. There is also a piano player in the evenings. Drinks are good and food is tasty as well. Nice and comfortable furniture to relax.
Parking: Downtown New Orleans is always difficult to find parking
Wheelchair accessibility: Easily wheelchair accessible“
“Taylor was awesome knowledge about drinks and was perfect on suggestions when you told them your favorite flavors“

“The Rusty Nail was a great spot to unwind after exploring New Orleans. It has a really inviting setup with both indoor and outdoor areas, giving it a nice balance between a cozy neighborhood bar and a lively hangout spot.
The outdoor space has a relaxed atmosphere where you could enjoy a drink and take a break from the busier parts of the city, while the indoor area still had plenty of energy when you wanted something a little more lively. They have a second floor level that works great for private events too. The drinks are excellent, and the bartenders did a great job putting together quality cocktails in a laid-back environment. Overall a great neighborhood bar with good drinks and a comfortable atmosphere.“

“I live close by and have passed this place so many times on the way to work but never had the time to stop in until today cos I wanted a fun place to go to celebrate my birthday and I've never been one for the maddening crowd that goes along with the vibe that Bourbon St. has. This place is absolutely a great little gem for those who just want to relax and have a drink. The bartender is a complete sweetheart and so friendly, the drinks are very affordable AND strong and I very much enjoyed celebrating my birthday there! It's kind of like the New Orleans version of Cheers LOL I just hope at some point they will have karaoke on the weekends but I will definitely be frequenting there more often from now on.“

“Go spend the day at the WW2 Museum and then go to Rosie's Roof Top Bar across the street at the Higgins Hotel.
Okay here we go... Food was good and the view was great. They just needed a little more staff for the busy time.
We started with the loaded fries, moved on to Cajun Shrimp Tacos. Happy Hour five dollar beer and wine.
P.S. great place to unwind.“
“We visited here as part of our anniversary weekend celebration and can say this place is an entire vibe. Tommy was a pleasure to just hang out and make drinks for us. He was patient and make the drinks on point. I wanted to go back another night, but we had to visit more things New Orleans. Definitely go and have a drink with Tommy, you will not be disappointed.“

“I don't know about this other review but... This place is a vibe. It's not open for breakfast yet, not every day anyway. But Karaoke Mondays and Taco Tuesdays are Great. The food is awesome. I keep going back. It's also being used as a rental hall so if you need an intimate setting for a party this is your place. Here is an event I went to once inside. Wonderful live music of Myia Rene.“
“The dining as usual was at a Michelin level I'm surprised it hasn't received it's stars. They red carpet was also pressed beautifully and the decor was really the chefs kiss. Try the foie gras and caviar with the tully and high life special.“

“A cute and pleasant bar with really delicious chocolate brownies and friendly staff. Special thanks to the staff for letting us charge our phone.
The only downside was that they don’t accept cash. I understand this is not the staff’s fault, but since this is a very touristy place, guests should have the option to pay with cash. We have been in New Orleans for 14 days, and this was the only place where we were not able to pay cash. For tourists, this is a huge downside.“

“Fact: The Public Belt is a must stop location in New Orleans and the best place to start your evening. Skip the concierge and head to the Public Belt. Zeke and Keith will identify the perfect drink for you along with local knowledge for the top spots to see. Even now thousands of miles away I find myself wishing I was back behind that bar sipping on great drinks and great vibes. Highly recommended…so long as you’re good people :)“

The owner is an incredible person and gives back to his community! Very nice, strong daiquiris and excellent vibe. Thank you, Mr. Love for the introduction. It was an absolutely great time!“

“We do not recommend! I have never been treated so poorly as a local at a bar in New Orleans EVER! We have family with us from Indiana and wanted to experience an “Indiana” bar. The locals were terrible, the bartender was rude. They all took an active role in making it uncomfortable for all four of us by berating us for ordering a bloody Mary after 2pm. Would have been totally fine with just saying, "sorry, we arent offering/making those right now". Would have gladly ordered another Miller Lite (which we ordered one of and got a high life - didnt say a word, I like high life, too and figured she midheard me or did she??) Heard enough from her and the "in crowd" finally, threw her a $20 and told her we were sorry to cause trouble and left. Hope you buy yourself something pretty with the hefty, less than deserved tip. Anyone who visits this neighborhood….stay away!! Visit Markeys, Pepps or anywhere else! If you aren't one of their group, apparently you are not welcome.“

“When we arrive, we were greeted by the bartender Clashida she was very friendly. We did not have a waitress, so the young lady had to be our waitress also our bartender for our appetizer we ordered a sweet chili wings, which was delicious. We also ordered the steak platter and the seafood platter. The seafood platter was salty also fried hard. Also the hush puppies look like it was fried with the same batter, it was a disappointment continuing on we ordered the bread pudding egg roll it also was delicious but if I had to order again, I would not be ordering the seafood platter. My friend and I also enjoyed our beverages. We ordered the alcohol beverages and it was very delicious. She did not miss a beat on those drinks so if you ever in New Orleans, please stop by the restaurant and meet. Clashida so she can make you a drink. You won’t be disappointed.“

“We came across this bar as we just wanted a drink after walking for a while. So glad we popped in. The service was great. The guy behind the bar made us a drink that i believe its not really drunk much in the US ie Lemon Lime & Bitters. I reckon only Aussies drink it. Anyway he did a great job and was amazing . The atmosphere of this bar was very welcoming. Really enjoyed our short time here, highly recommend this bar.“

“We arrived early for the Thievery Concert to eat dinner not realizing the restaurant was closed. Alex invited us to the Foundation Room to eat dinner. What an amazing experience! Jeremy and Blaine took care of us at the bar and the food was delicious (chicken tacos and fried cauliflower). We had the best time and really enjoyed the VIP treatment. It was a lovely evening. Thank you Alex, Jeremy and Blaine. ✨“
“The last few times we've gone, the burgers have been the best ever..... and don't get me started on their chili cheese fries! By far THE ABSOLUTE BEST we've ever had! I haven't found a place yet that can come even close to theirs! Keep up the great work guys!“

“Pretty standard nightclub place. Security was pretty quick during their search to let us in. The inside was smaller than I'd like it to be, but the screen panels were pretty cool to see. Tho, it was cramped when we got in. The vibe was chill since the DJ played more of the hip hop classics. Their lemon drops tasted good. There's plenty of street parking around the area. I usually don't go out clubbing, but I still had fun here. I just wished the venue was had more space.“
“The best place to be for the grown and sexy!!“
“I do indeed like this little hotel bar.
I’ve been wanting to visit and tonight was the night it finally happened.
Upon walking in, I noticed this spot is an actual lounge. There are board games, tv’s , a pool table— I love that vibe. Stopping in on a Friday I knew jt would be slow as Fridays in the city can be slow at hotel bars, everyone who is in town is most likely on Bourbon or other parts the city and not the bar at their hotel. I can’t remember the bar tenders name but he was kind and friendly. Although the drink I wanted to order couldn’t be made due to out of stock ingredients, I enjoyed two glasses of champagne.
Service, great!
Food, I can’t judge because the kitchen was closed.
Location, perfect.. CBD, two blocks away from Bourbon.
I can’t wait to go back next week to try the drink I have my eyes on.“

“February 19th, 2020. Husband's 50th. Wanted a Mardi Gras birthday. He went to 'Bead & Boobs' on Bourbon whilst my short self wandered in this bar mid afternoon. I found a bar stool, kicked back and let Houla introduce me to a lovely spiced rum which became my companion the rest of the evening. The bar itself was clean, bathrooms were kept up and had a slappin playlist pumping. I watched drunken drama come in and out: a young couple saddled up and in mid drink the boyfriend realized he was surrounded by gays so he bolted, a gentleman asked me to babysit his darling Yorkie while he drained his snake, but the best was watching Houla superhero himself over the bar to rescue a very intoxicated woman from a total creep. That was legend! Enjoyed my 7 hour stay. Everyone needs to be here!!“

“We sat in the bar cuz it's June and it's hot as hell outside and we weren't dressed for the restaurant. The gumbo was very good. The shrimp and grits were mediocre, the grits were gummy. They may have invented egg sarrdou but Brennan's does it better. The cocktails were all very good.“
“Spencer at the Burgundy Bar inside The Saint Hotel was absolutely fantastic. He was attentive, friendly, and made excellent drinks all night. He has a great energy and made the experience feel welcoming and fun without being over the top.
What really stood out was how personable he was—he even let me add songs to the playlist, which made the night feel extra special and relaxed. You can tell Spencer genuinely cares about both the craft and the guest experience.
Management should be proud to have him, and if you’re visiting the Burgundy Bar, definitely sit at his bar. He’s a big reason I’d come back.“

“I've been to a lot of hotel restaurants before, but Fountain Lounge is surprisingly one of the best I've been to and the staff really do seem to care.
The quality of the food is very good here and I dare say the prices are mostly comparable to similar sit-down restaurants in NOLA.
They also seem to have a good kitchen staff and/or a good chef leading them, because food here is consistently good. And if there's any issues, the venue has been very good at taking care of it without making it painfully awkward.
The drinks are the only thing that may be on the higher side, but it's still decent compared to their more classic bar right next door, and they do have a Chef's Happy Hour from 4-6pm.
Some of my favs from this spot has been the Jumbo Lump Crab Benedict, Butternut Squash Vichyssoise (I added Crab Meat), and the Gulf Redfish Amandine. Mmm, I love a place that does a crispy skin fillet and can execute it well!
I've also encountered many different staff members and they've almost all been very professional and warm, with the exception of one during mornings, but she's certainly not enough to ruin my enjoyment of the Fountain Lounge.
In addition, the only dish I really disliked here was the breakfast Steak & Eggs. The scrambled eggs weren't my favorite, although certainly a step up from most hotel breakfast buffet scrambled eggs, and the hanger steak was so tough, despite being perfectly cooked. I'm sure it didn't help that it seemed to have been sliced with the grain, but maybe I just don't know my steaks and should avoid this cut of the beef in the morning? The server didn't check up on my after I had an opportunity to have a bite, but c'est comme ca.
They also do seem to rotate out the menu items for the Chef's Happy Hour, which was a nice surprise on my final night here. I got to try their Charbroiled Oysters and the Chicken Bites. I've never had Charbroiled Oysters before, but heard it's a Louisiana specialty and it wasn't certainly worth trying. Did you know Louisiana produces 70% of the oysters in America?
Chicken bites were a bit on the salty side, but it well very juicy and lightly crisp with a tasty herb creme fraiche. I also tried a side of potato dauphinoise, which I rarely see on any menu. Can't imagine the work of all the thinly sliced and layered potatoes, enduring it's also baked thoroughly through. Yum!“
