“Stumbled on this place looking through Resy; made a reservation for 7pm, but my mom-brain registered 7:30. 😬 but when we showed up late, they were so sweet to accommodate us!

The drinks were delicious and the food was perfect. We got spots at the bar and watched as they put our cheese board together and made our drinks. We watched as they greeted regulars and made people feel welcome and excited for their meal. 10/10 recommend: 100/10 wish this was my neighborhood spot.“

“We had an amazing private event at tell me bar. Around 100 guests and everyone loved the set up. The owner, Uznea, worked with me to create a custom drink menu and set up some really nice charcuterie boards. We even had a sushi pop up which was delicious. Beautifully designed bar and great ambience. If you’re thinking about having an event here definitely make it happen.“

“Last Friday we had a Rehearsal Dinner and after the that a welcome party for my daughter’s wedding at Oak and Ale. We rented out the Oak Bar and the Patio area. The event was a huge success. The food was delicious, the details and special touches that Jillian put together for our event were so thoughtful and just perfect for our event. The service from the bar tenders and the servers and the kitchen staff was amazing! We could not be happier with all those at Oak and Ale that made our evening so special, including the great crawfish that our out of town guests got to try! The food was delicious, many compliments from our guests and even locals said the gumbo was fantastic! I would highly recommend Oak and Ale!!!“

“We hosted our wedding of roughly 60 guests at Barrilleaux's, and it was everything we could have hoped for and more. Our guests are still raving about all of the amazing food. It is a beautiful indoor setting, with plenty of tables for guests to mingle outside. At first, we were a bit worried that the space might be too small, but we had a six-piece band, and ice cream sundae bar, and still more than plenty of room to dance, for guests to hang out at their tables, and to walk around and mingle. We found out the day of the wedding that one of our guests was vegan. When we asked the chef if there were any vegan options on the buffet that we had planned, he went out of his way to make her an entire beautiful, custom vegan dinner. We thought this was absolutely above and beyond and we are so thankful to the chef! Brittani was wonderful to work with throughout the planning process, and Patsy was incredible on the day of. The team is super accommodating, friendly, and truly made it the best day ever.“

“our neighborhood bar while staying in the Garden District on holiday, this place was the bomb, the people running it were sincere, the bartenders really cared, the frog legs devine, a very wide selection of drinks, wine and spirits and just an over all amazing atmosphere for a chill wind down after a day of exploring the city. we give this place all the thumbs up and hope you make your way over here, right off the street car line, so no driving involved, and your first Malort will be on ME!“

They were happy to put an obscure soccer match on a big screen for us, cook us delicious food (the fish and chips were a highlight, as were the weekend special Buffalo chicken dip egg rolls), and pour us some great drinks.
