“Stumbled on this place looking through Resy; made a reservation for 7pm, but my mom-brain registered 7:30. 😬 but when we showed up late, they were so sweet to accommodate us!
The drinks were delicious and the food was perfect. We got spots at the bar and watched as they put our cheese board together and made our drinks. We watched as they greeted regulars and made people feel welcome and excited for their meal. 10/10 recommend: 100/10 wish this was my neighborhood spot.“

“We recently celebrated two birthdays at dinner, and the entire experience was outstanding. From the moment we were seated, the service was spot on. Drew, our server, was attentive, professional, and always seemed to be there exactly when we needed him—we never had to wait for anything. The food arrived in a timely manner, was served hot, and tasted as good as, or even better than, we expected. The Sea Bass was perfectly prepared, and the Delmonico steaks and filets were cooked exactly as ordered and full of flavor. The soups,s salads, onion rings and fries were also excellent and made great accompaniments to the meal. Between the exceptional service, delicious food, and welcoming atmosphere, our birthday celebration was a memorable one. We look forward to returning and would highly recommend this restaurant to others.“

“We had an amazing private event at tell me bar. Around 100 guests and everyone loved the set up. The owner, Uznea, worked with me to create a custom drink menu and set up some really nice charcuterie boards. We even had a sushi pop up which was delicious. Beautifully designed bar and great ambience. If you’re thinking about having an event here definitely make it happen.“

“Last Friday we had a Rehearsal Dinner and after the that a welcome party for my daughter’s wedding at Oak and Ale. We rented out the Oak Bar and the Patio area. The event was a huge success. The food was delicious, the details and special touches that Jillian put together for our event were so thoughtful and just perfect for our event. The service from the bar tenders and the servers and the kitchen staff was amazing! We could not be happier with all those at Oak and Ale that made our evening so special, including the great crawfish that our out of town guests got to try! The food was delicious, many compliments from our guests and even locals said the gumbo was fantastic! I would highly recommend Oak and Ale!!!“

“Don’t sleep on the Schooner! They were happy to put an obscure soccer match on a big screen for us, cook us delicious food (the fish and chips were a highlight, as were the weekend special Buffalo chicken dip egg rolls), and pour us some great drinks. Amazing vibes during the day and at night, wonderful staff (hi guys!) and cozy atmosphere. Can’t recommend highly enough.“

“My experience is always a good one. I usually pick up my order to go however, recently decided to sit in the patio area. The service was great! Paloma was very customer service friendly. The food was and has always been top tiered! I’ll definitely be visiting again really soon.“

“Staying nearby and drove by a few times and saw it was always busy. Walked up for an early dinner and couldn’t have been more impressed. Great people, great atmosphere and unbelievably delicious food made with fresh ingredients. Also found everything reasonably priced. Very happy that we trusted in our rule of eating where the locals go. How have they not been featured on the Food Network???“

“Been there 2x now and both visits were excellent..The Barthenders are very friendly and make some tasty drinks! The sirloin burgers were fantastic and definitely get the fries...should be called Gourmet Fries! “I stopped in to try a few drinks at the bar. They were TO DIE FOR!!! But nothing was as good as the service!! I ended up sitting at the bar for a couple hours and trying a few appetizers, my favorite was the meatballs!! I will definitely be back, I still haven’t stopped talking about this place!“

“We sat in the bar cuz it's June and it's hot as hell outside and we weren't dressed for the restaurant. The gumbo was very good. The shrimp and grits were mediocre, the grits were gummy. They may have invented egg sarrdou but Brennan's does it better. The cocktails were all very good.“

“We had a great time last night. We knew they were dog friendly. But they were also kind and welcoming to our horses. They even brought us water for them like they do for pups. I got the chips and beef queso which bit the spot and my boyfriend enjoyed his cheese fries. I love that they also had my usual drink! We'll be back.“

“This is where I usually eat breakfast as it’s convenient. Last time I was there they had shrimp and grits with egg for breakfast. I dreamt about it for 4 years but this trip it was no longer in the menu sadly. Lovely local waiters give good service and friendly care.“

“Services was a little slow and the food was not as seasoned as I would have like it. The sweet potato casserole was delicious and the steak was cooked to perfection just needed a little more seasoning. The stuff chicken was good but needed more stuffing. Overall all a good meal just wish the server was more attentive to our table.“

“We just stayed at the Inn and it was beautiful! What I love the most are the staff. They’re very welcoming, helped us out a lot and made everything in our stay perfect! I didn’t quite catch their names but the bartender and the man that gave us breakfast Thank yall so much! We will definitely come back to stay again! Also the food and drinks are phenomenal!“
