“I always stop at this Frostop every November after attending the Destrehan Festival a few minutes away. The burgers are always great (I recommend getting the burger "dressed"), and the root beer is delicious. My Grandma loved these burgers, she used to live nearby, and it's very nostalgic when I eat here.“

“Loved the service, everything was amazing. Shane really helped and was very efficient while working. I got the pulled pork and my husband got the brisket sandwich and said it was some of the best brisket he has ever had.Parking: Outside the restaurant had amazing parking and lots of space.“
“Alright y'all, i think I've found the best poboy in Louisiana at this little gem of a place in Laplace! Last Friday, i landed in New Orleans around lunchtime. If you've ever been to Louisiana during lent you know that any place serving fish is going to be steady packed. I'd done some research and decided this was the spot I was stopping at. Sure enough upon walking in there was a good number of folks in line and waiting for their order. I knew this was a good sign that I'd picked well. I ordered my poboy and found a place to wait. About 20 minutes later, it was ready and let him tell you that this shrimp and fish poboy was well worth the wait! Seasoned to perfection and served on bread that was the perfect combination of crispy and soft chewy. I'll definitely be back and trying something else on the menu!“
“The staff here are so kind!!! They were so lovely having to deal with my wife's beef allergy, took all the extra steps to make her feel comfortable! Burgers were delish and a perfect size. Cozy little place to get great food!Dietary restrictions: Accommodated allergy with ease.“
“Surprising hole in the wall with great poor boys. Service at lunch is a little slow if they're slammed but the food..... it's very very good. Big sandwiches, large portions. Try the roast beef, ham & cheese poorboy and their corn nuggets.Parking: Not a huge lot, fills up quick.“
“A great location to dine and wine at. Great waiters and waitresses that know how to treat customers, and are genuine. Lengthy wait for food, but the chefs make the wait WELL worth it. Food is absolutely delicious. Speaking of food, it has a wide variety to select from on the menu. Highly recommend eating here, and I will definitely be coming back!“
“Beautiful & Rustic country and decorations , outside and inside. Very spacious, nest, bright lights and everything. Cool looking bar area with one TV. Big area at the back, outdoor with tables and chairs, picnic tables with benches, a lot of bright lights decorations and more. We will coming back ??Parking: 5 or more handicap parking spacesWheelchair accessibility: They have ramps, easy“
“We always order to go and have had a lot of their food.Burgers, they're absolutely delicious. This is everyone in our house's favorite place for a good burger. And we're burger people lol. Mushroom Swiss is good, husband likes the one with bbq sauce and bacon. My favorite is the cheddar burger. The patties are HUGE and they put a mound of cheese, which is what makes it my favorite burger. They come with fries and they're pretty standaro fries. The appetizer sampler is SO worth it. Artichoke dip is creamy and full of chucks of artichokes, southwest egg rolls are, buffalo wings are just. I haven't had any other flavor but I'm sure they're all good. The wings are the huge ones. The steak night plate and Philly cheese steak sandwich are on the list of things to try. It isn't overly priced and the bartenders are always sweet and helpful.Shoutout to Sydney who is super sweet! If you haven't tried this gem TRY IT, because it's easily the best restaurant in Kenner.“
“Going here is the best thing to go to . Reasonable prices for great authentic food . Always fresh great staff . Morning time is the best time to go even though they’re open later .Parking: Decent amount of space to park and parking isn’t closed in and tight like an alleyway.Kid-friendliness: Always treating the kids happiness.“
“My ex boyfriend who only eats home cooked food introduced me to this place. The red beans and rice are delicious and I'm very picky about my beans. The Mac and cheese, fish and potato salad are also my favorites. This place is definitely a hidden gem.“
“Been eating here over 50 years and have never had a bad meal. Large portions for the money. Muffulettas, Po-boys and hot meals are large enough to share, same with their sides of French fries or onion rings. Don’t typically like bread pudding but theirs is great! Although it’s been a while, their stuffed artichokes used to be very good. We’ve used a few times for catering and found to be great food at great value. Only weak area is the side salad with the meals, but there are alternatives.“
“Food was hot and fresh, just what i had ordered and how i wanted it. I came to eat breakfast one early morning and my order came very quickly, didnt spend more than 6 to 8 min waiting for my food. Service was great! The place was ok its nothing special, just serves the purpose of good, fast, dinning. Ill deff come again sometime.“
“Gerald the manager greeted us 1st and he has great customer skills. Tyree Was the person who prepared our food. And it was perfect. They both treated us like kings and queens. If you want a good experience go to this Is restaurant.Parking: They have a lot of parking And the area is brightly lit.“
“Lively bar experience with a happy mixed crowd and plenty of goodies to eat around the clock! (They are open 24/7) I was craving sweets, so I tried the beignet sticks. They were hot, many, and did not disappoint but beware...they are sweeet! The bartender was accommodating and made me a tasty white Russian to wash it all down. I'll visit again soon to try their savory.“
“The customer service here is amazing. They have someone open the door for you. You’re greater by every staff member there. They were so welcoming. I actually didn’t eat, I stopped in to use the restroom because the restroom at the gas station next door was out of order. Everyone was so polite, welcoming, friendly, & had smiles on their faces. The energy was so happy and positive. I was disappointed my family missed out on eating here. We stayed at the hotel across the street and slept in. Definitely plan on eating here if we ever come back to visit!“
“A typical American breakfast place. They have just one type of waffle, so I wonder why they named the place waffle house - servers are nice and you can see them cook right in front of you. Toast is literally just a toast with butter. I personally thought the food was kind of salty. Hashnrown was good.“
“Quaint little diner! The owner was so very sweet. She definitely needed some more help it took a while to get our food, but I had the club sandwich with fried okra and it was so very good, my fiancée had the red beans, she said they were ok needed more seasonings and they were a little cold and needed cornbread instead of the hard crusty French bread it came with. Limited menu though. But definitely will try again next time we are in the area!“
“Can never go wrong with some comfort food after a night out. Service was fast, and food served hot. Everyone was cheerful and having a good time. Charles was our server and he made sure we had full drinks and that our food was cooked and prepared just how we like it.Parking: Huge and well lit parking lot. You can also park on the street that runs behind the restaurant. Robinson St.Kid-friendliness: Plenty of high chairs and booster seats. The kids menus are also really priced good. The serving sizes are also really generous for the Kids and seniors options.Wheelchair accessibility: Only 2 handicap parking spots with a cement ramp that runs up to the front door.“
“It ain’t Waffle House if there wasn’t trouble. This place is very short-staffed. Only one waitress and one chef when I dined in. You can tell they were trying their best to accommodate all their tables. I felt really bad for them, but they held their ground. Food was good, and service was as good as it could get. It’s hard to do your best when it’s just you serving multiple people at once. I hope they get more staff because I know those two people who worked the night I came eat must be tired.“
“For the most part, it's a great place to eat for the price. I'm not a regular but I eat there often enough. My problem is the ladies room, I have to prep myself just to wash my hands. I have napkins to open the door, turn on/off water, dry my hands and open door to leave. Yes I have OCD. The food is worth it. The wait staff is awesome,“
“Lovely place for a gathering or special meal. Came for multiple birthdays in our party. Did get a bit packed with very little service (waitress even had to finish making the dessert because staff was low and/or dropped the ball) Overall, would still like to return. Always up for a 2nd chance!“
