“My wife and I stayed at Ormond Manor last week for 5 nights and had an absolutely wonderful time. The overall property and the Manor are stunning. We stayed in the Magnolia Suite which was beautifully appointed and had plenty of space for us. Communication with Boyd the Operations Manager was courteous and professional. The included breakfast was so delicious and a wonderful way to start our day - everything on the menu was great. Brad and Aaliyah both provided outstanding service during breakfast. Unfortunately our schedule did not allow us to try the restaurant for lunch or dinner - but that gives us yet another reason to go back :-) I also liked the historical references around the property and in the Manor itself giving some insight into the history of the Manor and general area. Overall a clean and well-kept historical gem that gave us a quiet and relaxing stay.

Just to summarize:
=> Super-friendly, courteous and welcoming staff
=> Beautiful room and property
=> Delicious breakfast at the restaurant

“So overall I love the food here. Never had a problem until today (unfortunately today was the wrong day to set me off). There are 2 condiments/toppings I can not stand and will ruin anything I eat because you can’t just wipe it off and that Sour cream and MUSTARD!!!!! I can not figure out how “Mayo, Lettuce and Ketchup ONLY” translates to MUSTARD, Lettuce and Ketchup!!!! The words Mustard and Mayo don’t even begin to sound the same except for the M. And it wasn’t a little mustard. The bun was SOAKED with it. Call them and wanted me to come back in so they could remake it while the rest of my family’s can eat theirs. I’m glad they didn’t put it on my 6yrs olds burger!!!!”

“My family and I absolutely LOVE Ormond Plantation! Between all of us we have tried almost everything on the menu and have always enjoyed it! Of course we all have our favorites! Mine is Creole Stuffed Eggplant!! The owners, staff, chef, and atmosphere add to the enjoyable dining experience!! I pray they are eventually able to bring back Sunday brunch!!”

“We came here for dinner 5/23 around 6pm. There was no wait. We came in for the hibachi and was seated with another family, which we didn’t mind at all. I haven’t stopped thinking about the deep fried Cajun roll since!! I’m obsessed. We enjoyed everything, our vegetables were a little on the salty side and the soup tasted like water lol. Other than that service was good place look pretty decent. 10/10 I recommend!”

“I'm hooked. One day I drove by and changed my usual to the Spicy Mango and I have been hooked every since. I few more dollars than the rest but it is sooooo good. What's really nice, Everyone Knows Your Name (LOL) and they know what I like and how I like it mixed. I've tried every daiquiri shop from west end and vets down to Williams and they are the best.,”

“Queen's Cuisine is definitely 5 out of 5 Beans using the old NOLA Tom Fitzmorris food critic scale. The stuffed Bell Pepper with shrimp and stuffed catfish fish exploded with flavor. The cornbread is old school from scratch, nothing frozen. If you're anywhere in NOLA metro, its a must stop. The dinning room is closed however you can call ahead or order from the window.”

When reading reviews we decided to try it since others liked it, and man did it taste great. The food was wonderful, but the hospitality of the owner and her employees was also top tier.
