“Their breakfast menu and donuts are amazing! Made to order food items and freshly baked donuts make for an delightful experience. Although I placed a pretty decent sized order at the window, the ladies helping me were swift and speedy when it came to fixing and packing up my items. Definetly recommend if you're looking for an inexpensive meal and soft donuts. Will be back!”

“This was the cleanest Subway outlet I have ever been in - and I've been in a bunch - from Gonzales to Metairie, and including Thibodaux and Houma. Everything looked fresh and service was quick and friendly. Will definitely order from here again. Sandwich was great, too!”

“Wow, where to begin! My family of five is on vacation from Detroit, MI and we had just gone on an airboat tour when we googled local restaurants. We landed on this gem, Jae Flem. From the moment we walked in until the moment we left, we were well taken care of with the utmost hospitality. And the food!! Let me tell you, you will not be disappointed. The fish, chicken, shrimp, Mac n cheese, and especially the crab cakes were all spectacular. Plus, the dessert! Do yourself a favor and check this place out.”

“This place was absolutely amazing. I had the brisket sandwich and had to remove some of the brisket off because there was as do much of it on the sandwich. Also ordered the cheese grits which were delicious. To go I ordered a link of their smoked brisket Boudin and I will be returning to Gonzo's because of this item. I've never had anything like it. Didn't taste anything like boudin but it tasted glorious. The burnt ends looked amazing but person in front of me ordered last lb.”

“I've passed by this place quite a bit, and finally stopped in today. They have desserts, breakfast, and lunch. The atmosphere is pretty relaxing. I got the Korean BBQ poboy, and it was absolutely AMAZING!!!! It was seasoned well with a slight kick of spice. All the flavors came together beautifully on a perfectly soft bun! My only regret is, that I didn't get two of them!!!!”

“This is a family friendly establishment serving flavorful food with love. This is the best food I’ve had in New Orleans so far. The portions are great and there was no missing flavor from anything we ordered. Most tourist restaurants we’ve been to needed seasoning. This place does it right!We tried the generous shrimp po-boys, fried okra, a heavenly mac n cheese, and a delicious bread pudding. I would recommend it all.”

“We came at a great time, after the much rush I presume. Plus the weather was significantly cold so perhaps that kept people inside. We had two rolls and two appetizers. The food was really good, and came out really fast. The staff were very helpful in helping us decide on sushi and appetizer options s since there was plenty to choose from. The service was good and food was reasonably priced. I'm sure we'll be back.”

“The food is great and so is the coffee - better cafe mocha than the chain coffee shops. The price is right, I can get a coffee and sandwich for less than $12 and the taste is consistently very good. Staff is very friendly and competent, I love this place and wouldn’t change a thing about it.”

“Food is really good. Definitely best in the area for takeout Chinese food. Chicken was not overcooked or stringy like at other locations. Rice tasted fresh and not stale. Just became my regular to go spot. Only thing I noticed that’s not a big issue, pork egg rolls are kinda small, good but small so order a few extra. Shrimp egg rolls are normal size. “Met a friend for lunch here. I had a bowl of white bean and turkey gumbo and she had a shrimp salad. While the "gumbo" might sound unusual everything about it was delicious-flavor, consistency, portion size. My friend's salad was ample with plenty of shrimp and a variety of complimentary vegetables to make it interesting and flavorful. The ranch dressing was ranch but appeared to be made in house. She loved it. Friendly, accommodating service added to the casual, comfortable atmosphere.”

“Love what these two ladies have built over the years here in St. Rose! The menu is huge with unbelievable options of goodies and treats to choose from and most often delicious.I'll keep my fifth star because the exterior and seating need a serious upgrade, especially with the eye sore attached to the building. At minimum wash down the dust and webs from the signage and remove old signage debris from the fence. A little love goes a long way.”
