“Eaten at most sushi restaurants in NOLA the past 40 years. This was an experience unlike any other. It will transport you to Japan. You quickly realize you've been eating mediocre sushi your whole life up until this point. The price might seem high...it isn't. Truly an experience.“

“This quickly became my comfort food. The fried rice chicken bowl hits every time and the yum yum sauce is excellent. I've sent a few friends there and none have been disappointed. I typically order out so I don't eat there but there are a few tables set out.“

“I came in to place a to go order and the place was swamped with people picking up or trying to eat. Nick was very sweet and attentive to everyone, he offered me water after I was waiting for a few. The food ended up being delicious as well. Definitely will come back to try again!“

“Shogun is so great restaurant. I love Shrimp tempura appetizer including grilled shrimp. I also love fried rice and rice patties. The manager is so nice and friendly. Service is great and polite.“

“Great little hole in the wall, no frills spot. I have only tried the sushi so far and am impressed with the quality (especially of the raw salmon), portion sizes and really reasonable prices. I have been going once a week since I discovered them. Very sweet people as well. Definitely recommend!“
