“One of my favorite spots on the westbank! Amazing food, excellent customer service, friendly staff and very good prices. I’ve been coming here since they’ve opened and my whole family has been ordering take out from here almost weekly for the last year. As long as the prices and the food are great then I think JAF will be around for a while!!“
“I must say their fried rice is pretty good I also had the rock and roll sushi and it was pretty fresh We actually ate it two nights in a row. The rice does look bland when you first get it but add some soy sauce and it taste like you're at hibachi. They are a bit pricey but I guess it's because of all the fancy packaging and napkins. All together this meal was $18.18“
“I've had bad experiences with customer service at quite a few of the Chinese restaurants in town, but I tried out Hina Hot and it's now the only place I'll give my money to! Having great, hot, fresh food plus awesome, friendly customer service is the best. Family owned and operated, FREE delivery (& I live 15 minutes away!), and fast. I thought the prices were high at first, but then I saw the portions. With my one order, I've got dinner and lunch for 2 days. I'm genuinely happy I came across Hina Hot and gave it a shot. It's my go-to for general tso and fried rice now!“
“Nice little sushi place. Pricey for the portions. Portions are very small, the presentation on the sushi was plain. Single sushi orders had a better presentation. The rice bowls had a good portion and presentation. Everything we tried was very good. The spicy sushi we tried was not at all spicy but was good. The salmon belly was really good and I recommend this highly. I was not highly impressed with the whole experience because I left hungry and would not return here for a second trip. The sushi portions are very small.“
“So happy we tried this restaurant. Three of us shared a variety of dishes and all were full of flavor, we could not stop exclaiming over the food. We sampled both the raw and cooked seafood and the egg cloud soup was delightful. Wine offerings added to our experience.“
“New lunch spot aquired! Long-ish review... i live on the northshore but work on the soutshore... we have many good sushi places on the northshore but my favorite has won best sushi on the northshore for 3 years striaght. Point being, Ive been to many sushi places that have had good sushi and bad sushi... i was optimistic with Mizu and was not let down.. first time in just a few minutes ago and i ordered togo (playboy roll.) The place was clean as well as organized (for its smaller size).. order did not take long at all and it was absolutely delicious... temperature of the food was great.. consistancy was nice and the flavor was there! Will definitely be back for more“
“This little hidden gem has the best combo bang mi in the city! The seafood soup is sometimes the best depending on the day. But really I have a defined palette and am a harsh critic when it comes to food having spent 30 plus years in feeding high end palettes and traveling abroad. This is the best banh mi locally!“
“Best dining experience I've had in a while. The quality of both service and food was spectacular! Our server was great and she gave me a suggestion for a sushi roll, the Tuna Tsurai, which I enjoyed. Another favorite from my dinner was the Kimchee Octopus salad and the white fish tuna that came with our tricolor sashimi. My partner's favorite was the scallops and thought the enoki mushrooms went well with it.Unfortunately I forgot our server's name, but believe it started with a D (Delene? Sorry!) She was fantastic. Richard the bartender made us fantastic drinks!!!The only thing that felt out of place were the many TVs in the restaurant. It didn't effect anything negatively at all but that stood out.I am excited to come back and eat more delicious sushi.Wheelchair accessibility: Elevator“
“When we arrived at the Royal Sushi Bar, there wasn’t any hostess, but the bartender advised us that we could sit anywhere and a server would be with us shortly. On the outside you can’t really tell it’s a Japanese restaurant, however when you walk in the atmosphere was completely different. The Japanese art was very unique and lifted the atmosphere on the inside. You can tell their designer took their time to create this look!Once we were seated our server Mathew was very polite and even assisted us with picking items off the menu.During this time unfortunately one of our original items we picked wasn’t available, but he surprised us with a delicious Japanese tuna ceviche. We couldn’t finish all of the dishes we ordered so we took some to go.Overall all it was a delightful experience to dine there, it a must try when you go to New Orleans!Vegetarian options: There are a few in the menu.Dietary restrictions: The server asked if we had and to ensure he assisted.Parking: We were able to park on the street side of the building close to the restaurant.“
“I just had my food delivered by Uber Eats,,, I can't say anything bad about the food ...it was tasty. However I will dine in the next time, I didn't get anything to eat my food with and I ordered soup along with other items, so no spoon or fork..no napkins...etc. even so my food was good!“
