“Opokè is amazing. I’ve had poke in San Diego, Hawaii, Seattle, and Boston, all cities famous for seafood, and this place still ranks easily in my top five. I can not believe it’s in Denham springs Louisiana. The fish was fresh, the ingredients crisp, and the portion was huge. Every bite tasted clean and balanced. I travel often for work and go out of my way to find good poke wherever I am, and I can’t believe I didn’t know about Opokè in my own backyard sooner. Highly recommended for anyone who actually knows what good poke should taste like. 10/10 I will absolutely be returning. P.S. please get marinated mushrooms like Southfin on Perkins rd has.“

“This place is a hidden gem. Ordered a little of everything for my first time here. The calamari was great. The lo mein was the best I've had and the sushi was incredible. My new go to spot. Can't wait to try other rolls. Im sad this place was empty when I went. It's definitely worth checking out.“

Maybe an app if we think we are hungrier than usually. Price seem to be about $14. A roll. About what I see in other places that have smaller rolls.“

“I dined in with my father and baby. We ordered #4 and #8. #4 was beef and chicken, and #8 was teriyaki eel. I'm always nervous about teriyaki because some places make it too salty. My chicken and beef were tender and delicious. My baby seemed to enjoy it, too. My dad enjoyed his eel! I don't know about other menu items, but what we ordered was a 10/10! We will return.“

“I used a third party service delivery to the home for an order of snow crabs potatoes and corn. Omg the cajun mild flavor was amazing. It was delicious. Forgive the picture I was so hungry I took a picture midway. Next time I will dine in. Thank you for the delicious crabs. You all can bottle up the sauce and sell it. Yum!!!“

“Excellent clean restaurant with welcoming environment. Staff friendly and waitress was sweet and pretty. I had the lunch yellowfin tuna roll and steak hibachi with fried rice. The sushi was fresh made and delicious. The hibachi steak was cooked to perfection. I had it medium rare and loved it. It had grilled vegetables and fried rice. It was all flavorful and the rice was just right and not oily like many fried rices dishes at other places. I will have to come back to try more of the menu. Perhaps dinner time.“

“Every single night I order the sashimi plate. Usually I do takeout. But I cannot describe how wonderful this plate of assorted fish can truly be after a long day of work. There are other great sushi restaurants throughout Baton Rouge. Ichiban and Tsuyama have certainly established themselves and a great places to go eat sushi. Then, there are those that are just places to get sushi and nothing more. They offered nothing in the way of culture or give anything in return other than to fill your stomach. I was skeptical about Hello sushi at first, considering the name is not my favorite. But let me tell you, you can tell how good a sushi restaurant is based on its freshness and texture and vibrant of its fish. The octopus and the white fish and the salmon and the roe are killer! Most sashimi dinners are filled with imitation crab sticks (none of which is found in this assortment). It’s a little bit embarrassing how often I eat this sashimi dinner but I always like to order a random roll to go with it. And they are very good — the crunchy and the Philly and the speciality rolls — in particular the sea dragon which is loaded with delicious fish. The Hello There roll and the treasure island roll both use imported shrimp and are very unique.
When I do eat my sashimi, I like to mix it up. Of course I’ll use the ever-popular mainstay soy sauce. But dipping the white fish and the octopus into warm garlic butter is so, so good.
Do not sleep on this place. Again, best sashimi plate of all of the BR great ones.“

“I have been eating Tokyo Cafe for a very long time. It's actually the first place I tried sushi and hibachi. I still love their crunchy rolls. I got one yesterday and had to go back and get another because I ate it before I got out of the parking lot. Their crunchyrolls are different than everyone elses in fact every time I get a Crunchyroll from a different sushi place I order it like Tokyo Cafe's but it never comes out as good... They have asparagus, crunchy, and snow crab salad wrapped in seaweed and sticky rice with sesame seeds on the outside. I prefer to dip mine in eel sauce... They're very reasonably priced and the people that own and run it will treat you like family. I also love their fried rice and their Hawaiian roll... Actually, now that I think about it, I've never had a bad meal there.“

“Highly recommend this buffet. When my sister told us we were going to a buffet, I was doubtful. But everything we tried was very good. The server was quick to clear the table when we got up for more delicious entrees. The only suggestion I would say is to make sure all the dishes were clearly labeled. I have a food allergy so it's really nice not to have to always ask. But, yes, will make this a habit!“
