“I have been going here for years. Authentic food and the best I’ve EVER had outside of someone’s house. The owner is so sweet and really remembers you. Such good food it’s like someone home cooked it for you. Made with love. We are so lucky to have lees around. My favorite is the spicy beef cabbage.“
“The service was very welcoming. I like that you can customize your fried rice to not have egg in it. I was told they make everything fresh once it’s ordered. I thought I took a picture of the vegetable fried rice, spring rolls, and hibachi noodles. Maybe next time I will take pictures.“
“This is a take out type of place. Don’t listen to people who are talking about a lack of seating. It’s not exactly a restaurant. That’s why it has the word express in the name… Anyways, I’ve been here multiple times and the food is always incredible. Never an issue with staff. I’ve gotten the steak and shrimp bowl nearly every time as well as making my own custom bowl and with a little of their yum yum sauce it’s a combination that is absolutely delicious. I will continue coming back here for the foreseeable future. Glad to have this place close by.“
“Tiger Pho gets it right every time we go! The best item on the menu are the wings which are always huge, crispy, and dressed slightly with a perfect nuoc chom style of sauce. The wings are on my "Best of Baton Rouge" list! The grilled pork has this smoky, caramelized flavor all over so if you get the rice plate or the rolls with it, you're in for a treat! The banh mi and pho are some.of the best in town. I'm partial to the bun bo hua with it's perfect level of spice and thick noodles. The service is always friendly, attentive, welcoming, and fast. This is one of the best restaurants in town so if you're looking for outstanding Vietnamese food you MUST check out Tiger Pho!!!!“
“My husband and I came to try our first dim sum, and even though I had no idea what to expect the wonderful staff walked me through it and explained what the dishes were. We had a wide variety of food, and everything was fantastic. It’s truly authentic and the customer service is out of this world. I highly recommend the shrimp and chive pot stickers if you go for dim sum. They were my favorite!“
“I was greeted as soon as I walked in and I loved that they were playing Christmas music (I went 2 weeks ago but forgot to post my review). I ordered a thai tea and it was good, but to me, really sweet. I ordered some milk to make it less sweet but it didn't work. For an appetizer, I ordered calamari. 10/10 because they deep fried jalapeño peppers too and it made the dish so good. You have to be careful though because they are a bit spicy. I ordered the Pho Dac Biet and without any sauces, it was okay. Once I added siracha, hoisin (usually only add when it lacks a bit of flavor) and chili oil, it tasted a lot better. My cousin ordered Bun Bo Hue and she didn't really like it. I tried it and it lacked the authentic BBH flavor. I'll definitely come back to try their other foods because this restaurant is promising.“
“Food is hit or miss depending on the time of day or day of the week. More fresh food when its busy and they refill the buffet trays more often. But its harder to get crawfish or crabs when its busy, people get greedy and pile up their plates. Sushi bar is average at best. Seating is good, lots of TVs and always a good place to watch LSU or Saints football games, NBA games.“
“A real hidden gem. My go to sushi restaurant. The owners are there every day and have been for as long as I remember. I've never had an issue with anything from asahi. I recommend them over any other sushi place in baton rouge or surrounding areas.“
