“This is my go-to spot for sushi in the city. While there are several more premium options for sushi, they come with premium price tags. None of them hold a candle to Origami in terms of value. The menu here is extensive, so it will be easy to find something for everyone in your party. The rolls are pretty standard, but all are good. Their nigiri in particular stands out for being excellent yet being almost half the price of some of the other more hyped sushi locations in the city. Their cocktails are great as well.“

“What an experience!
We met with some friends for the Omakase menu and it was well worth the cost. With this, you get 12 or 15 different sashimi options. Each were so delectable and tasted Ike the best quality. They presented about 3 of the 12 at a time so you were not overloaded with a big platter. Highly recommend if you like the raw type. Our server was fantastic and knew every single item that was placed on the table. Cocktails were so good as well and I recommend their off menu rum drink. Decor inside is cozy and modern but very inviting. Don’t sleep on the apps as well and you MUST get the Brussels! We will be back very soon!

“I have been to Yo Nashi twice and can’t wait to go again. Having been to many sushi restaurants around the world, I can easily say this was one of the best. The sushi is fresh and the dishes are creative, one of a kind and beautifully presented. The bartender suggested excellent drinks paired with our dinner choices. The atmosphere is intimate and perfect for conversation. Hosts are gracious and very thoughtful. I always recommend Yo Nashi to friends visiting New Orleans.“

“This place is phenomenal! I couldn't believe how fresh and delicious this sushi is. I decided to pop in and grab a quick bite before meeting some friends. The owner is such a nice fellow. Everything was so clean and fresh! The sushi was so delicious I didn't want to put any sauce on it. Lol. The soy sauce was solid quality and the spicy mayo had just the right amount of kick. Top notch and I will definitely be back! I ordered the crab stick roll and tuna roll.“

“This place is definitely improved. If you stayed away from it because you didn't like the old Chinese Tea Garden, give them another chance. They have an all you can eat menu at 25.99! You can't beat that. Also they have the best sushi in this part of town.“

It's located in the "Jax Brewery" .Single employee working and just has the service of any food court.Rolls are $8-$15. Cheapest roll I could find was $7.99.Poke bowls are $12 and there are just a handful of options.I read there was a lunch special, that is not true. Or at least I couldn't find it anywhere, and the employee said the prices are the same all day.I got the grill fish for $7.99Bourbon street for $8.50And Rainbow roll for $11.99Plenty of seating and no line when I was there. (Tuesday at 2pm) Food took about 15 minutes.I did not see a wheel chair/stroller friendly entrance anywhere.Rolls were a little sloppy, not tight. “The food is great and the service is good...provided you don't arrive within an hour of closing. If you do, you will likely be told they are out of rice, fish, water, etc. I waited tables through college and I get that people who come in 10 minutes before a restaurant closes are the worst, but the staff here shuts down seating earlier than anywhere I've ever known. If they truly don't want to conduct business after a certain time, then they should close an hour earlier or simply clearly post a house policy stating no seating past a certain time rather than lie to repeat patrons.“
