“What an experience!
We met with some friends for the Omakase menu and it was well worth the cost. With this, you get 12 or 15 different sashimi options. Each were so delectable and tasted Ike the best quality. They presented about 3 of the 12 at a time so you were not overloaded with a big platter. Highly recommend if you like the raw type. Our server was fantastic and knew every single item that was placed on the table. Cocktails were so good as well and I recommend their off menu rum drink. Decor inside is cozy and modern but very inviting. Don’t sleep on the apps as well and you MUST get the Brussels! We will be back very soon!

P.S. catch happy hour for specials on Brussels and you better get the crispy rice trio!“

“I have been to Yo Nashi twice and can’t wait to go again. Having been to many sushi restaurants around the world, I can easily say this was one of the best. The sushi is fresh and the dishes are creative, one of a kind and beautifully presented. The bartender suggested excellent drinks paired with our dinner choices. The atmosphere is intimate and perfect for conversation. Hosts are gracious and very thoughtful. I always recommend Yo Nashi to friends visiting New Orleans.“

“This place is phenomenal! I couldn't believe how fresh and delicious this sushi is. I decided to pop in and grab a quick bite before meeting some friends. The owner is such a nice fellow. Everything was so clean and fresh! The sushi was so delicious I didn't want to put any sauce on it. Lol. The soy sauce was solid quality and the spicy mayo had just the right amount of kick. “This is my go-to spot for sushi in the city. While there are several more premium options for sushi, they come with premium price tags. None of them hold a candle to Origami in terms of value. The menu here is extensive, so it will be easy to find something for everyone in your party. The rolls are pretty standard, but all are good. Their nigiri in particular stands out for being excellent yet being almost half the price of some of the other more hyped sushi locations in the city. Their cocktails are great as well.“

“Went on a Friday night (8-30-24) 6pm. Lots of choices and my wife loved the boiled crabs. I really liked the fried whole shrimp and they were big.
They were constantly replenishing the options with freshly cooked food. The staff were nice. The place was clean as were the restrooms. $40 for two adults I feel was a great value. I liked the sushi too.“

“The food is great and the service is good...provided you don't arrive within an hour of closing. If you do, you will likely be told they are out of rice, fish, water, etc. I waited tables through college and I get that people who come in 10 minutes before a restaurant closes are the worst, but the staff here shuts down seating earlier than anywhere I've ever known. If they truly don't want to conduct business after a certain time, then they should close an hour earlier or simply clearly post a house policy stating no seating past a certain time rather than lie to repeat patrons.“
