“The sushi here is some of the best I've had. The tea was awful, but the food itself was amazing. The house roll is one of the best things I've eaten, and I'm not usually a fan of cream cheese in my sushi rolls. The vegetables were fresh, the BBQ eel hot, and the flavors perfectly balanced.“

We were told by the hostess that there was an hour wait and that there was barely anywhere to sit so she advises that we could sit at the bar which we did the sushi bar that is. After waiting for some time Chef Trevor noticed that we were not being really engaged. He then asked me if the kids and I would like something to drink so what you said yes the hostess one of the waiters chef Trevor’s prompting, served us drinks as well as kept our cups filled Thank you! we were very grateful for the kindness that was bestowed upon us. The Hostess. After advising of the long wait, didn’t offer a drink of water nothing. Never engaged, never updated nothing. It was busy so I didn’t panic. We just waited. “Honestly don’t understand these comments. I’ve eaten sushi in many places and this shop is actually one of the more authentic sushi spots around here. Compared with many other sushi places in the area, the rolls here are made very well and the quality is consistently good.

Also, people who really understand sushi know that sushi itself isn’t supposed to be “full of flavor” like heavily sauced rolls. The main thing is freshness and proper rice. From my experience, the fish here has always been fresh and the sushi is prepared properly.

Sometimes it seems like people who are used to heavily sauced or fast-food style sushi misunderstand what real sushi is supposed to taste like. I personally have had good experiences here and don’t understand why these reviews are saying otherwise.“

“I did a reservation for the private karaoke room for my birthday and LOVED IT. The food was good, the drinks were honestly cheap if you get the bottles. The experience was unforgettable (even after a few too many drinks), and the service was very nice. We were a group of 8 and our bill came out to close to $475. And that was after no less than 6 bottles and about 4 cocktails. The party menu is a great deal. I cannot recommend doing the private rooms enough. So fun!“
