4 Best Japanese Restaurants in Slidell

“Sogo was once the best Japanese restaurant on the North Shore. I use to come here at least twice a week but I moved so whenever I come back I stop and order food. The last time before this time the food was way too salty so I took a break. This time was the same thing way too salty. The food use to be so flavorful but for some reason it’s over seasoned. I’m not sure if the cooks are new but they have to get back to their authentic flavor and taste.“

“We have found our new favorite buffet. Great selection. I tend to stick with the basics as I'm not a big fan of seafood. The sushi is fresh and tasty. The food is always hot and fresh and full. They had a birthday party next to us and it was so cute.“

“Love love!! Came here with husband and 2 year old toddler for dinner hibachi, staff were so friendly and my son enjoyed it! My son got some rice and ate a lot of it. He finished and was ready to get up. My husband took him over to the front and he played with the projector light on the floor, while a waiter would mess with him by poking around the corner, then I finished and we packed up and were getting ready to leave, Then the waitress brought him a light up hat to play with!! Very happy with how the staff treated my son! We loved the food and it was amazing hibachi! Will be back!“
