“Came here for my lunch break. It was not busy at all, so the service was extremely quick and the server was friendly. The vibes inside are nice and cozy - especially love the sky mural on the ceiling! I was in and out within 30 min. The tempura bento box was delicious. The prices are very affordable here too - I've spent more money at places like Taco Bell for a much less satisfying experience. I'll be back to Wahada for sure!!“

“My wife is vietnamese and I've tried pho and soups from dozens of different places here, in Houston, New Orleans and even home cooked recipes. This place is just as good if not better than all the best places. The pho, and lemon grass broth have rich flavor. Just look at the color, it's darker. Most places in BR the broth taste too watered down. If you like watery broth with little to no flavor then you might not like this place. But if you like the soup to taste good with every bite, then it will blow your mind“

“If you are looking for high-quality sushi look no further. I get umami about once a week. I really was not a person who liked raw sushi before but now I don’t want anything else. I’ve tried eating raw sushi from other places, but it’s just not the same freshness. For me personally, I go for the nichi roll and the spicy salmon roll adding salmon on top is super good. I also really love the seafood Ramen and the little chili oil you can get on the side. Although I normally like to split with somebody and get a roll in the side just for a little variety. They also have more specialty fish like uni and bluefin tuna which I have been wanting to try, but they are on the more expensive side but I love how they have variety of really expensive items that are more rare hard to get and items that you can afford on a budget. They really have something for everybody so I definitely recommend you check it out if you’re wanting fresh sushi.“

“I’ve only visited Sushi Mass twice and the time gap between both visits is by years, but don’t let that say anything bad. Both times I’ve been I have loved the food and enjoyed myself. The atmosphere is amazing and calm, a perfect sit down lunch/dinner. I’d honestly let the time gap show that the quality has always been there and I think I’ve found my new favorite place. I sadly lost my mom in 2022 and she didn’t care for Japanese food but my dad does, we’ve been looking for places to eat other than our norm and they fit the bill. Literally! We had the all you can eat lunch menu and literally paid the same we would at a steakhouse or even Applebees! Can’t beat that plus the atmosphere and customer service outranks all in my opinion.“

“The food is ok. It’s not bad sushi, but it’s not knock-your-socks-off sushi either. I’ve been here 2-3 times, and the servers are nice. You’ll have to flag them down for anything you may need, because they don’t come around often enough, however, they are pleasant.“

“The Service was great. With a reservation, we were seated immediately. Didn’t have a choice where to sit though. Our waiter was very friendly and the food came out quickly. The salmon sashimi was so thin that you could almost see through it. And it was priced per piece. Kind of disappointing. The bathroom there looked like it could be in a local truck stop. Not clean and needs updating. All in all, we had a great experience.“

“I have tried different items like sushi rolls and beef donburi. They're all tasty and reasonably priced to me. I saw many people dining in or taking out, but I didn't have to wait whenever I visited. Overall, nice spot for hanging out while enjoying comfort food!“

“If you're looking for a small, quiet place to eat sushi. This is the place to go! It's always the same staff working when I go. Which is great because it makes the experience better. Personally I would recommend trying the spicy seaweed salad. It's a nice mix of crab, seaweed, and cucumber. Best appetizer they have. My favorite roll is the fire mountain roll. It's wonderful. Definitely consider giving this place a try!“

“Fairly busy for a Thursday evening, a bit loud but was able to accommodate us with several toddlers. Great service. The rolls we ordered were delicious but a bit pricey IMO for what you get. Friend's volcano roll was the best. Consider going for happy hour if you can!“

“Best sushi in town in Baton Rouge! The sushi is delicious, not too strong and not too bland. And the salmon and tuna is thick and fresh. Service is excellent, the food came in no time. Very recommended place to get a fresh sushi, much better than instant sushi you get in other restaurants.Dietary restrictions: No pork“

“I found my chicken fried rice to be too salty. However, that’s not going to stop me from going back and finding out if they have a low sodium option. The strong salt taste is my only complaint. The price was good and the amount of food was gracious.“

“Great buffet experience. I mean the service was top notch. When you think of a good buffet, this place is all you can ask for. It's not the biggest selection of food, but it's a great mixture of food and it covers all the different parts of the food chain. I got to say, my belly is full and my heart is happy so if you want to bring your family here or if your feeling frisky and want to bring a girl here for a first date then it won't let you down!“

“I always get the LSU Roll! I haven’t tried many sushi places in Baton Rouge because they’re the best I’ve had. I normally have to order ahead for lunch (at least 30min) and it’s sooo good every time. No dine-in options available, but it’s so good it normally doesn’t make it out of the parking lot.“

“While visiting my in-laws during Mardi Gras week, I was on the hunt for stuffed jalapeños. My spouse was craving a daiquiri, so we stumbled upon this fantastic establishment next door. Let me tell you, it was hands down the best stuffed jalapeños I've ever had. And I'm not exaggerating when I say the best. I'm from Texas, where I indulge in them once or twice a week, so my standards are high. I'm already looking forward to my next visit, just to stop by here again. The waiter was exceptionally kind, and despite having only one other table occupied, the place was impeccably clean. No picture of my food, but it was stuffed with an overload of crab“
