“We love Mestizo Louisiana Mexican restaurant, a family owned establishment with a unique combination of flavors. The flavors are Mexican with a Cajun influence. The atmosphere is casual but upper class and comfortable. Our server was very friendly and attentive.“

“My husband and I just went to the location on Bluebonnet and had an amazing experience! The staff were friendly and helpful, the food was delicious, and the shake was tasty. The gluten free bun was surprisingly fluffy and yummy. The prices are reasonable, too! We highly recommend and plan to be repeat visitors.“

“This place is just okay. Others in town I would go to first for high quality coffee and pastries. They didn’t add the syrup I ordered so my iced latte was just plain. Maybe petty but their lids don’t fit tightly on their to go cups and results in coffee spilling down you when you drink it, which is just annoying and an easy fix. The pastry I had was good so that’s what saved the experience for me, though I probably wouldn’t come back.“

“The food was amazing. We enjoyed the Sunday brunch menu which included the French onion soup, fried oyster salad and for entrees we ate the New Orleans Crab Cake Benedict and Short Rib Benedict. The manger was so gracious as to give me a small bottle of champagne to take home since all the desserts were made with chocolate and I am allergic. We will definitely be back for the dinner menu. Fantastic table side service, beautiful ambiance and excellent master chef food.“

“Wines, tastes and remedies. Very cool wine bar & bistro. Fantastic rustic open area with an upstairs lounge area.
They have a good extensive selection of wine, cocktails and small bites. The wine varies from very affordable to high-end select with daily specials. We were pleased to see a few of our favorites.
The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.
We shared a wonderful charcuterie board, choosing a variety of items.

“So tonight I ordered again from Jasmines On the Bayou a Shrimp PoBoy and Seafood Platter. The Oysters were BURNT...all small FOUR of them...so crunchy a guest said the could have broken their teeth?!? I ordered the Shrimp PoBoy and only got a HALF! They said they would refund me, well DoorDash did...not sure why they did and not Jasmines. , waiting on an answer from them BURNT FOOD IS UNACCEPTABLE...there was no way they didn't know...really!!?? Especially if it can harm someone? What else was there was good, but it was disappointing it wasn't right, again! Oh, a good thing, the Shrimp and Corn soup had shrimp in it this time, just too creamy for my taste. Not used to cream in it. Another bad thing is Jasmines doesn't have an email to respond before posting a review. Enjoy the pics.“

“Stopped in to grab dinner before getting on the road back home. The place has a nice atmosphere, spacious, friendly staff, and delicious food. I ordered the shrimp tempura roll and pepper steak with white rice. The roll was perfect but I must say the pepper steak was spicier than I expected so beware. Other than that great and fast service.“

“Love the Jambalaya Shoppe. Can always come here and get full for cheap. They are heavy handed with the servings. You will get more than your money worth. And the service is always the best. You will be greeted and they will go over the menu with you. And they will offer you a sample just to make sure you want the food.“

“I have been eating Tokyo Cafe for a very long time. It's actually the first place I tried sushi and hibachi. I still love their crunchy rolls. I got one yesterday and had to go back and get another because I ate it before I got out of the parking lot. Their crunchyrolls are different than everyone elses in fact every time I get a Crunchyroll from a different sushi place I order it like Tokyo Cafe's but it never comes out as good... They have asparagus, crunchy, and snow crab salad wrapped in seaweed and sticky rice with sesame seeds on the outside. I prefer to dip mine in eel sauce... They're very reasonably priced and the people that own and run it will treat you like family. I also love their fried rice and their Hawaiian roll... Actually, now that I think about it, I've never had a bad meal there.“

My favorite greetings come from *Ms. Camille*. She's friendly and enthusiastic. I always get the perfect seat. *YAS* one of my personal favorite restaurant servers - anywhere, not just CPK! She's soft spoken, prpfessional and kind, and her attentiveness is Top-Notch!!! Thank You, YAS and Camille!“
