“20240329 I haven't had beignets in over 10 years, which was the last time I was in New Orleans at Cafe du Monde. I like that his coffee shop also serves breakfast and has prepared frozen soup. I came for the Beignets and got a hot chocolate. The lady gathering and serving food at the counter was so unfriendly. This is my first time here. I was polite, and thanked her multiple times... when she gave me a paper cup for the hot chocolate., and when she gave me the bag of beignets. She didn't knowledge any of it and just moved onto the next task. It would have been nice she she was friendlier. The hot chocolate was amazing! The beignets were great when freshly made and hot. I had the left over after I got back to the hotel and they were hard and dry. Cafe du Monde beignets were great when cold and the next day, still soft.“
“I hosted my small group here and it was really nice. They were very accommodating and got our drinks to us fast. Most of the group had never had boba tea, but the lady was extremely patient and explained everything and allowed sampling, which was appreciated.“

I live close by the Baton Rouge location on Antioch Road and was serviced by two very nice young ladies Kendal and Presleigh! “First-time here! Nice crowd for a Saturday with ideal weather. My main concern was the relatively small size of this space; the number of people made it almost impossible to safely distance from others. This place will need more space and outdoor seating in order to comply with health safety precautions and be successful. Every table should have chairs — there were two or three tables with no chairs. I’d be embarrassed to have such a situation, and I’m pleased another patron offered me a chair to enjoy my cappuccino treat.“

Also really enjoy the variety of roasts and origins available, though I seem stuck on their Acadian (medium roast) lately. I’ve been back almost every day since trying a new flavor each time I go. I usually ask for someone to recommend a flavor to me when I go to keep it fun & on my toes! I absolutely love everything about this! It gives me that much needed energy, super refreshing, & has not affecting me in a negative way. I have a tendency to break out because of new things, so far my skin is still its normal self. A super grande vanilla latte with foam is like maybe getting a grande coffee. If you ask for no foam or froth only 1-6 can understand what that means. Not sure how else to order no froth or foam and get a super grande cup of vanilla latte.“

He played the piano, juggled his balls, cooked, served us, gave good directions, helped us back out and in general was a nice new friend to meet from mainland China.
