“This place has become my home away from home. I've been coming here since it opened. They have the best, freshest, cleanest cup of coffee there is! Their breakfast and breakfast sandwiches are incredible! Their beignets are 2nd to NONE! I especially love the staff, whom I consider friends now. This locally owned gem is the place to come where you're always greeted with a smile, and they learn your ordering habits haha! They even rent out their second room for events during their off hours. I'm not much of a reviewer, but I've watched this place grow, and I'm proud of them, and I couldn't pass up the opportunity to give em props when Google promted me for a review this time. Great job ya'll! Keep it up!“

“One of my favorite coffee shops to do work or go to read. I've noticed one of the new employees is very passive aggressive and confirmed with other friends who enjoy the place that they experienced the same.

The only reason I'm writing this review is because I watched her be actively rude and passive aggressive to a couple who ordered coffee to-go an hour before closing. They tried to engage her in friendly conversation and she confirmed she was "frazzled" due to her having closed most of the shop an hour early since no new customers had come in for a while.

I've never had a bad interaction with any other employee which is why this stuck out to me as uncomfortable and unwelcoming.“

“Can't say enough good things about this place! We came here today for my nieces 1st birthday party. Michelle & Michael were BEYOND accommodating. They helped us set up as we were running behind on time, let us borrow a million things without hesitation, and kept the party flowing! Besides the AC not being able to keep up with the Louisiana August heat, the environment was perfect for children and adults. I also did not expect to have such a GREAT cup of coffee from a children's play yard! As we were leaving the party, we were having some car trouble in the parking lot. Before they closed up, they came out to offer us cold waters & assistance! I could go on and on about Michelle & Michael's hospitality, but I recommend visiting for yourself!“

“This place is so cute and the lighting is great! Had a wonderful time drawing and sipping a wonderful seasonal latte. The baristas were very kind, patient, and well informed while I asked my questions about allergies.

“Passing through Louisana and we decided to have breakfast here. Loved the ambiance, the staff are friendly, nice and helpful.
We loved everything we ate, the goat cheese biscuit (which was recommended) , the sausage egg casserole, the ham quiche, it was all very delicious.

I ❤️ that they have vegan breakfast options and allergy friendly muffins.

The coffee for my taste was a bit on the softer acidic side. But that's a personal preference of mine. I am a coffee addict and I prefer the bolder expresso.

My husband and I loved the experience and wish the cafe all the best ?.

“A big fan of their local pickup option for an on-line order. The Espresso Rouge and Noir are always very freshly roasted. Also really enjoy the variety of roasts and origins available, though I seem stuck on their Acadian (medium roast) lately. That's very flavorful, consistent, and a solid value for that quality of coffee.“

“PJ’s is an inviting coffee shop just down the street from our hotel. Staff was very friendly and efficient. I came here every day during my stay in Baton Rouge for my morning vanilla latte and scone or muffin. The latte was hot and delicious with a the right amount of vanilla flavoring. The blueberry scone was excellent; I did find the muffin a bit dry. Wish there was a wider selection on the pastries. My friends and I found the café a bit chilly so we enjoyed our breakfast outside.“

“Fine service but please get rid of asking people for tips. This is a drive through, not a restaurant. I'm not tipping at Burger King or Wendy's or CVS. It's already a $6 cup of coffee halfway filled with ice. Why would I tip here? It seems as if they don't pay their workers enough so I have to make up the gap. And it's bad enough that it's like that at restaurants. Pay people enough that I don't have to be begged for more money than this place demands.“

“I only ever go through the drive through but they do an espresso 22 like no other and there’s two workers who are super pleasant all the time. One is a girl with cool hair and one is a guy who calls me “love” when I pick up my coffee and really picks my mood up. Keep slaying, you two. Hope you get a raise from this or something“

Otherwise very friendly staff, ample seating, good hot coffees, hot New Orleans style beignets, breakfast sandwiches. “This was my very first time going there and my first time trying boba tea so didn’t really know what I was getting! Unlike the other reviews saying the staff wasn’t friendly must’ve gone to a different place!! The young lady working the counter and making other orders not only showed me the menu but also told me about the different boba drinks and once I picked out the drink, I should select the type of boba I wanted! She and the gentleman working there were extremely pleasant and helpful! The boba drink I ordered, “Oreo Wow” was so delicious and not too sweet! Will definitely be going back!!

“So there’s this lady there by the name of Cat I believe. And let me just tell you, sis is a BARISTA for real!! Some people just work at Starbucks but she’s GOT IT! I work across the street and every time I come in she greets me with a smile and gives exceptional service. & Why is everything that she recommends so good???? I hope she stays here forever.
