Dinner was amazing. I had their seasoned ground beef with black beans, rice and fried plantains. FULL of flavor. We will be back.
Great spot for Cuban food in Baton Rouge.

Elisa’s Cuban Cuisine offers a welcoming and nicely decorated atmosphere that evokes the vibe of Miami or farther south. The restaurant features friendly, attentive service and a menu with many choices, all presented well. Portions are generous, and flavors are great, with dishes like the Cuban sandwich, Cuban burger, and a slender strip of sirloin steak with Churrasco sauce receiving praise. The Tres Leches dessert is especially recommended. Sides such as plantains, black beans and rice, and sweet fried plantains complement the main dishes well. The interior is impressive and clean, making it a pleasant dining experience. Pricing is reasonable, making it good value for the quality and quantity of food. However, the restaurant currently does not serve alcohol, which was noted as a downside by some. Overall, Elisa’s Cuban Cuisine is a good place to enjoy delicious Cuban dishes, with many dishes worth returning for.
